Is it just me or does the mud at the begining look fantastic to roll around in. I have this policy where I don't usually like getting mucky, but when that first splatter of mud hits me I'd just love to get caked in it.

someone already did this with a repurposed jet ski as the pump and the water jet pack pulls the jet ski along. Plus the hose aids with stability.

we're just that much closer to jetpacks. although the ones we may be able to purchase commercially will probably use air pressure to lift us off of the ground instead of fuel.

I thought the pushing force was being used up in the water chewing the ground, and splashing the water. I wonder how well it would work over a harder surface. I also thought it would hurt for that water to hit his foot !

ok some dued made a water jet pack that was like that but had a boat behind it that powered it and it was quick but it probably cost a lot more.

@warofthewalruses Actually, it wouldn't...we don't have to "drain the lake, killing hundreds of thousands of fish, birds, and turtles..." We don't have to take away every resource we have in order to help Africa. We can send whatever we don't necessarily need. By the way, we don't have to create a whatever amount of money airplane to carry that...we already have airplanes. It might cost more money for fuel and whatever, but your reaction is a bit...over the top.

Cool, interesting, whatever you want to call it. But honestly, what could POSSIBLY be the practical uses for this? So we humans can make water pressure high enough to lift a 160lb man off the ground, not so awesome, considering it takes hundreds of gallons of water...

@theaznpanda dude. i hate it when people say things like :people in africa can eat that food! its so freaking stupid when they say it, becuase thaey CANT eat that food or dring thak water. i would destroy the world trying to carry all that water and food that was wasted to africa i say that its okay to waste a little of something, (like the crust of a sandwich), but not a lot of it (like the whole sandwich.)
