WE'RE BACK! Where Have We Been? 

And to the people saying we just shouldn’t watch it if we don’t like it - I disagree. Speaking for myself - I’ve been watching their videos since the very beginning, loving their content for years. And I’m sure they would appreciate a constructive criticism from the OG fans out there. Or we can stay silent and let them wonder later why they’re loosing views. And I really do get it, I have small children and pets myself, I get the hectic life, but I’m sure a bit of editing and trying to complete a sentence without turning the camera 65765 times a minute would go a long way😅

I'd love an "updates" video of just you sitting down and filling us in on the big things. And then separate videos for the farm and garden things. It might be easier to say everything you want to say and also still get to show us how the garden is doing and what all the animals are up to.

I have been with you guys since Callie’s birth. I have however to admit, I have to watch your videos in bite sizes. I miss the old structured videos - but the current ones are just alllll over the place. You keep on saying that you will update us on different things in another vlog, but then nothing happens. I am saying this with the utmost deepest respect, but I miss the old structured videos. Are you guys going ahead with IVF? What was the outcome of Phil’s surgery? Which projects have been completed? I feel so bad to do this comment … - please don’t hate me.

Y'all have only been all over the place since you moved to Tennessee. I swear you've all changed so much it's wild. Completely different people, vibe, everything. Y'all seemed to have it so together until Tennessee now it gives me such anxiety watching the chaos and disorganization.

I love your family but I feel all the blogs are you showing the garden and I understand you are proud but . Would like to see more family videos

I first want to thank Phil and Alex for sharing their lives with us. I hope though that you would be open to some feedback. My two cents suggestions: Perhaps you could have either your current length of video footage, but then time-stamp it into distinct sections depending on the footage you have filmed e.g. garden, animals, crafts, family, health, food preservation, etc. That way we could watch the sections in bit-sized pieces and not get overwhelmed. Alternatively, you could make shorter, more frequent videos, like 10-12 min each, focusing on one or two topics. Either way, not too long-winded or repetitous, but having complete thoughts and to the point. You could also edit out the places where you didn't complete an idea or sentence, rather than leave the thought hanging.

As a mother of four I can totally understand how you feel. Definitely isn’t easy vlogging and trying to keep up with every day life. So thank you for taking time to do a video. Your garden looks amazing

As a mum of two young ones, I love that this video reflects the reality of trying to do a lot of things at once, all the time! Love all your videos, short long, structured and not, and love watching the gardening journey!

Being someone who struggles with anxiety, I will admit to feeling anxious at times as I feel your and Phil's energy has been rather overwhelming. I worry a little that in some ways you may be taking on TOO much and not having enough time to breathe and smell the roses! You are a beautiful family full of adventure, learning and loving life. 🌳🌿🪴Love the garden tour! I wish where I live had a longer growing season but it gets cold here in Calgary,Alberta, Canada. We still are successfully growing spaghetti squash, tomatoes, beets, carrots, potato’s, beans, peas, and sweet and hot peppers.

First off, that's great that you guys got out and had a vacation! I'm sure it was MUCH needed! I know that there's a lot of comments about how the vlogs are feeling lately, so please don't take offense to them, they seem to be constructive criticisms because they want you to still be successful. I think it might be in everyone's interest if there's a family pow-wow about expectations for filming since this is used for your family's sole income (I'm assuming). Too much interruptions from kids or spouses are exhausting, especially since they lead to more incomplete sentences. I've noticed an evolution in the vlogs as well, and they are getting dicier feeling, there's sentence after sentence not finished, there's so many promises of big things to share that don't get shared, or are shared much later for a split second in future videos. Life is hectic. I have three kids too...so there's no judgement, but just some ideas for you guys as a viewer: have a list of things you'd like to say, and make sure you get to all of those thoughts, make sure the kids know to not interrupt during filming time (unless it's really important), edit so there's hardly incomplete thoughts said, and if there's an update that you promise to share in the next video, be sure to do so. I'd rather see less video of higher quality than more that seemed like you ran out of time for the finesse. I don't mind that each vlog has multiple days worth of videoing...life is busy. Anyways, I hope your family is alright and that you really got the rest you needed from vacation. 🎄

Seeing the difference from being back at the condo and now, brings me such joy. What you are living now is what I lived growing up. But ours was a working cattle farm, encluding wheat and hay crops. And we always had a huge garden that we canned , froze and pickled. Such great memories! Thank you for reminding me of such fond memories ! Missed your videos, glad it was a vacation and not a problem. The garden is gorgeous. I had no luck with mine this year, the weeds took over and strangled my veggies. Plus I think I had voles that ate my string bean plants and chewed off the bottom of my zucchini plants. I planted potatoes in the fall last year and nothing came up, turns out they all rotted. Very disappointed. Hoping for better luck next year. Welcome back.

Noticed some comments left for you about things too erratic to keep interest for some people. I just wanted to add that I do understand their feelings but I raised four children and babysat 2 others and I understand your feelings too. Sometimes that happens and in my latter days now I'm comforted in knowing that the kids remember the joy not the chaos largely. So I don't want you to change. I watched your videos years now. Keep doing what you do!!

Love your family but miss your artistic editing and calming fitting music. Agree with some of the other comments everything feels a bit hectic and like RU-vid is a tickbox exercise and not in your heart to post anymore. I also miss Phil, feel like he is always missing 😔🌿
