I personally got Jay Z as my favorite artist but I got Eminem up there beside him . This is not because I think Jay z's a better rapper than Eminem but I like the slang or street talk Jay Z uses... floats over people's heads unless your from certain areas in the northeast or on the East Coast. What does eye-fi mean? This is an example from one of his tracks. So I like the way not everyone understands what J is saying . Don't cheat and look it up but tell me what does that mean that I mentioned above which is from Brooklyn go hard I think
@@choice12ozborne no idea what it means, I didn't know biggie was talking about a rental car when he said "s-car-go my car go 160" until I went to New York. I did a Eminem vs Jay-Z (35 Rounds) on Spotify my name is Finn Redmond on that too if you want to check it out and tell me if I did Jay justice with my picks? I'm more of a Stan than a Jay fan tbh
Mook understands what Em does and appreciates how fucking skilled he is at it - as someone who does that himself. Majority of shit Em says will go over motherfuckas heads
@@garry3465 That's why you keep listening to learn how to spit lyrics like "still totally inappropriate with an opiate that I'm groping and I'm holding it like a trophy"
@@garry3465 THIS Lottaaaaa ppl don’t seem to understand that we have objective proof of guys that listen to rap nonstop , and get on here and do these vids and still miss TONS of bars he says The issue, is they don’t “fuck with Em” so they might hear a song and go damn that was fire 🔥, and literally never bump it again So they not only will acknowledge it’s good, but they don’t even realize how good it actually is cuz they only listen one time and “can’t bump that around the Homies” 🙄 Let’s all rly think about this for a minute and how it’s essentially objective proof that Em is the goat 🐐
5:44 Fun fact... That Busta verse you thought was better than Em...? He's on record saying that when he heard Em's verse, he went back and rewrote another verse. He said "Eminem's not gonna kill me on my own s&*t"
When Wayne say's "I don't go around fire expecting not to sweat" on 'No Love'. He's speaking about the unspoken pressure of getting on the track with Em. He literally points at him when he say's it.
There was no pressure lmfao. It was a smart move on his part to say that as well. Not saying he didn't actually mean it but wayne knows how the stans are💯
@@princedame9534 lol I’ll take Wayne’s word over you 🤡. Maybe while you’re on RU-vid. Type it in and learn something today. Unless you can’t humble yourself?
Ice T’s comments were made after the Slim Shady LP. Ice T has been a massive vocal supporter of Em since the early days. He was even in the music video for ‘Fight Music’
I think eminem fans r so loyal to him is not only bc he is a great rapper but also bc he is genuine and ppl relate to him. I did not come from the same background but everyone can relate to pain and struggle. And just the way he can be so vulnerable...even when he's angry its so raw and real. That's what his haters can't understand. Its not only bc he is great and not only bc he's white...he makes ppl feel...he touches my heart.
I agree I didn't like it when he got political though but that's all I can say because they're all pieces of s*** and scumbags I said don't take a side on it if you can
People don't realize how strategic Eminem is when it comes to getting or keeping fans. When they said he was homophobic, he brought Elton John on to duet his most loved song STAN. When they said he's abusive to the females, he switched it up& teamed with Rihana the then known abused chick of hiphop. When they say he got a problem with the LGBT, he team with Young MA who rides that movement....GENIUS.
@@rosaryinkeanushand4827 Yeah, I wasn't disagreeing with you, I was agreeing with you and noting another instance where his actions aren't in line with the accusations made against him.
From Mook to Rakim, Em is highly praised across the board... but there’s still people out here that disrespect him that look up to the people that admire him 🤔🧐 #LetThatMarinate
@@eenkooz I've been patiently waiting for the reaction of back down. Or maybe a little bit of rain man. Feel like he needs to react to gatman. Or imma fight him bitch I'm superman
@@jamescavanagh910 i wish he'd drop some Patreon stuff on YT periodically or something. He's got Em's first 3 albums, and almost done with the 4th on Patreon now.
Facts. Young Buck said in a recent interview that back when him and Wayne was both on Cash Money Wayne could rap with the best of them and dude was like 12 years old back then!
What Ice T meant by that, is that even someone going into an Eminem album planning on not liking it, or just straight hating? Will end up being impressed, and become a fan after hearing him rap. and by laughing, he meant having a good time. Ice T and Em are good friends, and Ice T's a legit fan. He once called Em "One of The Grand Masters of Rap."
don't take it that way Stevie, I laugh at something that Em says on practically every song. and it's not a comedic hahaha typa laugh, it's because I'm truly AMAZED at how clever he fckng is, and it's the double-triple entrendres, and it's the shots fired. so no, I don't think Ice was low-key dissing...
Are you thinking of the song Lord Above by Fat Joe that they’re referring to or “The Warning” by Eminem? The song they’re talking about isn’t really a Mariah diss is why I’m asking.
@@ToxicBottledOstrichNostrils Yeah Lord Above was the song i was thinking of but your right i probably should of said Nick Cannon diss i just heard Mariahs name in it and didnt know the name of the song
Stevie is probably One of the best bar breakers I've run across except for one other dude who acts As If hip hop is his profession and I can't remember his name. Is a White dude or I think He is white. I can't tell.... he might be Latino
@@frankes028 you should've typed it like this Eminem is oNLY i nfluEntial t0 w#ite rappers Or something like that idk i just knew that's how you troll by typing 😆
He wouldnt stand a chance. Rap battle is completely diffirent to to making music. Theres a clear reason why battle rappers cant make good music but kill it on stage and why rappers kill it on track but cant do shit on stage. They are 2 comoletelt different worlds.
@@aaronbutler5429 you don't know what you talking about... Eminem is a battle rapper through and through. He's the exception to the rule of what you just said about battle rappers not being able to make music
@@simamkelesogoni3258 dont kmow what i am talking about right.... Battle rap in the 90s is completely different to what it is today. Em rap battle era was them rapping over a beat and spittings bars, exavtly like he does on tracks. Todays generation you need stage presence, charisma, cadence, flow, the ability to make the crowd believe in what you are saying. Its a completely different game now. There is a reason why em the ogs can spjt insane bars over music and this generation cant Do you even watch battle rap and see its a performace and not musical at all?
Young MA is a Budding MC....I think she will Stamp Her Name next 2sum of Hip~Hopz All Tyme Great Women MCz. Cant wait 2C what Young MAz Future Holdz. I think she guna Bring That Fire to the Hip~Hop Scene. LETZ GET IT MA
Young m.a up there lyrically. Feel like u ain't heard the full catalog or last two albums. Going off of one song with eminem on it ain't the way to judge that. Only snow and young m.a get top tier lyrical respect right now in the game too me. As current female rappers in the game 💯🔥
Steve eminem called ma cause that's what he likes to do he likes to bring smaller people into the big game and give them a name just like he done with Jessie reyes in good guy
There was a time you couldn’t turn on the radio or go anywhere without hearin Wayne. The man was every fuckin where and in everyone’s songs so many singles. Wayne is a fuckin legend. I’m proud af to be from that era
Stevie I think I know why Em wanted Young MA on the song with him. Em had a lot of controversy surrounding him since the beginning of his career with the media and certain celebrities confronting him of being homophobic, because he uses the word faggot and makes homophobic jokes in his songs. So collaborating with people like Young MA who's a blatant lesbian is like a big middle finger to all the people criticized Em over the years. Em loves to shut up the haters. It's kind of the same reason why he did that performance with Elton John at the Grammys back in the day. That was the ultimate middle finger, because that was in Em's prime when he was getting the most criticism and controversy. And next thing you know he's good friends with one of the gayest legends in all of music.
Ice T isn't dissing him, most of Em's older albums were based on humour, satire and innuendos. He's saying that there are tons of lyricists out there who get slept on regardless of how life changing their words are. But Em came out with something completely different that made people think and because he was so clever with it, it gave him the ability to pull the people in who would normally overlook him and turn haters into fans. He pulled them in with the laughter but made them stay with his substance
I'm so glad you mentioned Busta Rhymes. I've been saying this for years. Busta is the only dude who kills Em on a track. Every track with Busta and Em on it, I actually like Busta's verse better. Every single one. That doesn't dethrone Em, but that just shows how true it is that Busta is SLEPT on! And of course, Wayne matched Em as well. Busta and Wayne man, titans for sure.
Sorry in my opinion, and I'm a Tupac guy. But em didn't have to go back and rewrite his verse like bustah did on calmdiwn and Em still took it in my opinion, and the 🐐. I like bustah but he's not even top 10 maybe 15
Stevie honestly been watching your videos since the start. But the Eminem ones hit differently, your honesty and knowledge is unreal.... Need a margarita and em sesh haha
i think the reason why anyone would think busta won is becos the song is a HYPE song, busta was more HYPED than Em, so BUsta took it, but if you want to go bar for bar?........not even gonna sit here and lie, busta ma OG but i didnt understand what the heck! he was talking about in calm down lol
Love your content bro. Watch damn near everything you drop. Keep em comin bro. Imma have to go join the patreon now. Gotta catch some of the shit I’ve missed out on with RU-vid
You are by far the best reactor on here. In my opinion, Em and 2pac are the best ever. 2pac was taken from us WAY too early so obviously he can’t have the longevity Em has, but Em has been relevant for over 2 decades. No one can touch Em lyrically
Thank you for this video. Your reaction to Mook talkin is FACTS. Mook is a legend. I've been watching URL for 6 years now. Em is the Goat. Glad to see The Most Respected talking about it. That whole podcast was 🔥
Hey Stevie, huge fan. I think you should check out the full Busta rhymes interview about Eminem and specifically Calm Down. It was originally supposed to be a 3 minute song, Busta sent his 32 bar verse and after a few weeks Em sent back like 54 bars. Busta re wrote his verse and sent it back and Em re wrote his verse again and it went back and forth like 3 times until the public got the 6 minute song we know now
When you get through the infinite album or when you get the chance do his partners in rhyme infinite documentary is really dope to see how he’s was before he had to switch to the more shock value music
About the Young M.A thing. Em likes to give features, shoutouts and props to rappers who either aren't as well known when they should be, or they are well known but they're underrated. Unless he's talking about his all time favorites, or the legends of Hip Hop, he doesn't like to give light to people who already have more than enough. I think this was on the Crook's Corner interview, but he even said he only likes to wear shirts promoting rappers that aren't well known cuz maybe we'll notice and go check that artist out.
Shiiiiiettt... Stevie Knight on board wit the Battle rap #SMACK. Salute to you my bro 🤙🏽 you should break down UrL battles. That'll give heaps of people outside of battle rap a scope into that world. #BARS
"And keep winkin' and blowin' kisses 'cause your flirtin' with death I'm destroyin' your livelihood, I ain't just hurtin' your rep" this is probably one of the most hardcore lines ever said
As a 'Brit' living in Austria, I would miss context from some of EM'S song without you breaking it down and giving me the full picture. You Sir are a gentleman and a Scholar. Thank you.
Idk what it is about you style of reaction but it's great man lol especially your lyrical breakdowns because even though you don't like all of ems beats you're there for the bars and the analyzing. It's fascinating to watch and learn and most of the time people don't catch everything at first but even genius lol
In the late 90s when I was a young teen I wasn't really into Hip Hop more Metal and Rock. A friend played me the Slim Shady LP and i was hooked. That album opened up the whole game to me. I discovered Nas, B.I.G, Eric B and Rakim, Gang Starr, Ice Cube, Big Daddy Kane, Naughty By Nature, Slick Rick, Big L etc.
Steve you should watch Crooks interview with Snow she loves em and lil wayne. I dont think she out does Em on a track but she would try her ass off at least.
That’s a dream collaboration, even though snow is super lyrical, I’m not sure if it’s a good match, I mean styles are different. Snow has that Bay Area sound west coast. Em is more griddy I think that why he identifies more with M.A.
@@sharshesa1 haha snow isnt just west coast at all in this she is but she doesnt just have one style at all. Id even say most of her stuff isnt west coast. Same can be said about Em and the East both very versatile.
