She yelled at me and told me to respect my time more then offered me 200 for what would only take 30 minutes "and I'll still buy you lunch". There are other rock idols who are known for wearing dresses, but I can't really remember who off-hand because that was never really my scene. Kind of a "in one ear and out the other" type thing, but it wasn't at all uncommon back in the 70's and 80's.

Super Honest Hot Take: I think some clothing looks good on the dudes, some clothing looks good on the gals, and some clothing looks good on both. Gender bending often just doesn't look flattering, so on top of established norms people are uncomfy crossing, religious reasons, etc.. it might just be hard to get behind until a HOT NEW LOOK is found.

i would rather say people look bad at crossdressing because they don't dress the way it suits them and their body the best, they just use the most female/male dress for dramatical effect. i'm no fashion expert, but men may look better in the same women cloth for sporty or non-curvy/recangular shaped women and those cloths still can be feminine. But for 90%, they wear those dresses for curvy women wich highlights hips and breast which they don't have.

During the medieval period everyone wore dressed, boy,girls,men and women. Now there was some gender variation mostly with lenght like womens went down to the ankles or ground while mens went down to just below the knees. But if Ben saw like a medieval male and female pesant he would claim they where both wearing dresses. Both due to their simmilarity but also Medieval peoples love of color.
