Today I'm sharing what I eat in a day for balancing hormones, regulating my period, plus the supplements I'm taking. I've talked about PCOS before, but now I'm really focused on keeping my blood sugar balanced, boosting progesterone, and supporting ovulation. When your hormones are balanced, so many of the negative symptoms like fatigue, headaches, acne, bloating, and PMS get better!

Gingerbread Smoothie Recipe:
1 1/2 cups water
1 serving vanilla protein powder (amzn.to/37qNvaU)
1/2 - 2/3 cup frozen cauliflower
1/4 cup (handful) of walnuts
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 inch knob fresh ginger root, peeled
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground cloves
Pinch of salt
Blend all the ingredients until smooth. Enjoy immediately, or store in a to-go cup for an easy on the go breakfast.
Oil-Free Baked Wings Recipe:
1 lb pasture-raised chicken wings
Parboil the wings in gently boiling water for 7 minutes.
Drain and dry.
Bake in oven 425 F (400 convection) for 15 minutes, flip them, then bake another 12 minutes or until desired crispness.
Sauce them up with your favorite sauce. I highly recommend one without added sugars such as Primal Kitchen brand.
Peanut Sauce:
Whisk together 2 tbsp peanut butter, 1 tbsp mustard, 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil, 1 tbsp coconut aminos (or tamari, or soy sauce), 2 tsp grated ginger, 1 tsp maple syrup or honey and juice of one lime.

Hey, Jordan!Great video! I wanted to ask you something and I don't want to be offensive in any way, I'm really just curious. Do you think that you can be just as healthy on vegan diet? (I'm not saying that you should be on one, of course you should eat whatever you feel is best for you, just wondered if your joice is based on any deficienties)

No offense taken Adora! :) I love your question. Of course I think it's possible to be healthy on a vegan diet. I think based on our individual genetics and epigenetics, different diets work better for some than for others. There are many populations that eat primarily plant-based and do well! For me, I tried it for two years and couldn't keep my B vitamin and iron levels up even with supplements. So I made the change. I hope that helps!

I'm just vegetarian, but I asked because I'm a medical student and I'm in that phase where I "have" every disease in the book and I live in a country where veganism and vegetarian diet are looked down at. That makes me really insured sometimes when I convince myself that I have anemia or whatever this weeks topic at uni is (even though my results are fine). @@adoradearheart5076 There is SO much more to diet than just nutrition. It certainly is a reflection of our ethics and traditions. You have to go with your own values in the present 😊Maybe they'll change, maybe they won't! Just be true to yourself and your body's needs!

Pretty much! I have a video on why I don't snack. Sometimes I will if I was very active and just need a little something between lunch and dinner.

Thank God you are eating some animal protein instead of the vegan crap. You might want to do some grass-fed beef as I think fish and chicken don't give you enough iron. Low iron equates menstrual complications. In my book, you also want high cholesterol and high lutein diet, so 4 eggs cooked in beef tallow is a good start. LOL
