Clay, you're tops! I always hope for authenticity and desire openness and genuineness in friendships and relationships. I think people realize we are all imperfect, don't alwys know how people receive us or keep a record of what they think about us (whether accurate or inaccurate). Being inauthentic or too calculated can ruin or post-pne growth in friendships, especially if they are new. It is always best to be measured and honest in approach and communication. Thanks so much for your excellent channel and help for us All!

While no contact played a crutial role in retraction and setting boundaries, this guy is on the money when it comes to reestablishing emotional connection. As a guy I had to push my ego aside and allow the friendly conversation flow, which escalated to flirty vibes within 10 minutes into the meeting. To me as a man it comes natural, coincidentally, its my authentic self which reset the natural feminine, masculine dynamic.

I think after a good meeting with your ex, this gear is too fast. Your ex must feel that you are not needy. If you communicate immediately after the good meeting, your ex will feel your neediness. I suggest after a good meeting wait for a week. It's not mind game. After a week, your ex will feel you are not needy, and this will get she excited about you.

i just got home from a meet up with my ex. we had fun but she was stern on her decision of why she left me (i'm a nonchalant person and she felt i was not listening to her needs) She said we weren't on the same page relationship/carreer wise. I think it's time to move on as she was very stern and was not looking to get back together. NC is in progress since i left the meet up, it'll probably change her mind in the long run but i'd be more than surprised if it did.

Hey clay We just meet the fourth after 2 months He offered to come to my house I cooked his favorite foods and drinks. He loved everything he just jumped in my arms as soon as he came through the door. And kept intense eye contact he apologized again and We hugged and did everything he stayed like 5 hours. And now he keeps calling and Sendind messages says I love you and misss you we kissed that day hold hands Idk does that mean we are dating again? He told me if i wanted to go watch the minions in a couple weeks

I have a different question. I am after no contact, we established communication via facebook(we text each other everyday, not 24/7 but alot), met multiple times, she was fine with some playfull things like tickling and stuff, but when i went for a kiss she said "lets not hurry". We've been in contact for over 3 weeks, met up 3-4 times. What would be the best way to aproach this? Should i distance myself a little bit giving her space and let her initiate things, or just go with the flow as it is now, and re-try the kiss/or ask on a real date in a few weeks or so?

My ex asked me for space, time to heal etc as i ve hurt her pretty bad. Im working on my selfe and have allready made a lot of changes- we met up few days ago, it went well, we laughted. But as i was really needy at the end of relationship, controlles her and lot of other bad stuff, i know it is better to leave her alone for few days. Let her process feelings. I dont think people must text and “check” EXs state of mind as you will look needy, to much relationship based and you will scare them away. If the meet up was so great and nice- should you really need to doubt it and re-check it?! Thats the first sign you have not work on your confidence- you are not sure about yourself… Let your ex process everythink- they will reach out too you themselves when thay are ready. If not- was your meet up really so great and good than?!

Clay, my ex and I have two kids and a 3rd on the way.. she says she doesn't know what she wants to do. Doesn't know if she wants to try again or if it's over completely. She's still very angry and still very hurt. It's been 4 months since our separation, we have met up two times which were good meet ups. She hugged me and told me she misses me one of the times. The 2nd time we talked about everything that happened and how she doesn't understand why. I ensured her I've changed and won't do specific things again as I'm going to counseling and rehab. We text about the kids and sometimes it becomes playful texts. Then I don't hear from her for a few days or she's super short with me. Wondering if you had any insight and what I should be doing as to not out pressure on her but not be too passive at the same time. Thanks man, love your videos. I met up with my ex a few days ago. Coincidently, the last time we saw each other was 2 years ago to the exact date but wasn't planned that way. I stayed the night over her place because she was having foot surgery the next day and was a bundle of nerves. We woke up early and I drove her to the clinic. They knocked her out and performed the surgery and I arrived later to bring her back home. She's now on crutches and can't get around for at least a couple of weeks. We mostly hung out at her place afterward, watched movies and snuggled. I feel like the next few months could get interesting.

You meantion those positive pullbacks can be because they are reconciling the new version they are seeing with the old, wondering what’s real etc. however, is it common that they do this because of maybe reasons like guilt that they have a new partner but connecting with you? Or feeling the connection but for some reason wanting to avoid it and pretend it’s not there? Is this common

It could also be. Each person has their own way of responding to things or situations. Your ex may have certain experiences in the past that made him respond in a certain way.

What do you do if you meet up after 4 months of being broken up and sleep together? The night honestly was so perfect, we put everything out on the table and were joking around by the end of the night. We were making out in the bar in front of all of our friends lol. He invited me over and wanted me to spend The night but I couldn’t and told him to invite me over again to sleep over. I haven’t heard from him though. Do you think we rushed back into things? Honestly we were both feeling it but I hope I didn’t make it too easy for him🙁

Keep focusing on yourself to be the best version of yourself you can be and live your life fully. While steadily building emotional connection with her so that trust can build as well. And especially : patience is key. I haven’t succeeded yet but it’s only been a few weeks that I’ve been trying to connect on an emotional level with him and things have improved immensely

I would just let her pick up her things and tell her that you need some space but, if you need to have a conversation try to remain calm. I’m just throwing around some suggestions I don’t know your situation. But maybe a conversation will help you toward the process of healing. Or maybe meet up with her with her things depending on how you ended. If she’s coming to your place she probably will be open to a conversation. Good luck!

After breaking up for a year. I started texting and calling sometimes. She will go on and explain everything she has been through even her own plans for the future. Because of that I asked her on a date she immediately replayed with "When" am so so confused on how to get her back during the date
