Thanks for the info. Been using my MxSport for a while now. It can be very sensitive, but like you say, the moral of the story remains the same - "dig it all"!
I just scored one of these for a little over $300. I wanted a machine that could help me get some of my family members interested in metal detecting. I think they would be amazed at a machine being able to guess targets. Im still waiting for my manticore to show up. This will be a fun machine while I wait.
that's cool you're very informative and I have friends, they have those White's brand and if whites wants to send me one for Christmas I'll make a video everytime I go out and show what I'm using thank you and have a great holiday hopefully Santa put one under my tree.
Just buy an Equinox 800 and you will be happy. My MX was put to shame by one. Even my 20 year old DFX has a better target ID system. My MX Sport kept me busy digging junk that was coming up as various coins. The Equinox was reading the same signals as junk! Whites rushed this detector to market and it shows. They should have put out a multiple frequency machine such as the NOX . They probably will once they get everyone to buy their MXs . Not impressed at all with the machine! Also, the Equinox was picking up various coins at depth my MX could not even see!
