So true. I was raised by my grandparents so when I said my vows, I meant them and value them. Better or worse, sickness and health. I believe this was meant for mental health as well. I do to/for him what he does to/for me. I give him a taste of his own medicine. It's not perfect, he does still do some of these things, but it's less frequently and for less time, it's getting better. My husband and I have been together for 23 years and married for 7 years. sure you can start a new with someone else, but who's to say they will be any better. The person your with wasn't that way from the start and neither will the next person. When he starts acting this way, I simply do my own thing and leave him to his vices, aI don't let it bother me anymore and these are the times I simply take off and do what I want like go shopping, to the movies, out with friends, or to a friend's. He don't know what I am doing, with whom and no, I don't answer when he calls or texts during this time. If he asks me what I did or where I was I simply reply " needed some ME time" and continue with what I want to do at home whether it be cleaning, organizing, crocheting, arts and crafts, or what have u. More and more he's realizing I ain't putting up with it and if he wants me to act like his wife, then he needs to act like my husband. This method is not for every situation but works for mine and I would rather try to work it out with every scenario possible, if it ends, if nothing else I can say I gave it my all and really tried. Therefore leave without guilt, what it's and the satisfaction of knowing I truly tried my best. To each there own and best wishes to everyone...

Then treated me as a house buddy as he talked a good game to repair our marriage but no physical work was being done. Then I found out he was also working on a backup young girl that didn’t know he was married. So I’d been working on myself with therapy and after that 2nd wake up call I dug deeper inside me to get back strong, in every aspect and area of my life. Now I’m almost there and then I can walk and I never walk to look back nor be friends with him. He didn’t appreciate nor respect me as his wife and friend so why would he want to afterwards. This is an excellent video. This happened to me when I was in my early 20s. I didn’t know better back then. I grew up broken, not knowing how to be treated. Men take advantage of your love for them. It’s wrong. It’s evil. It took me over 13 years to figure out how to forgive. Thank God that I came to a place of release (forgiveness). I learned to forgive myself for allowing this to happen and to forgive him. We do not battle against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness in high places. I am not mad at him bc if it wasn’t him it would have been another guy. Plus the Bible says he didn’t sin against me, he sinned against God and it’s for God to judge and avenge. He took love away from me and killed me spiritually. After years of unforgiveness I am finally at a place where I pray for his salvation. But I was also a sinner so I can’t judge. the burden is off me and I leave it up to God. Amen.

4 years I genuinely waited, there were signs of not being wanted but I😂thought it was love maybe someday things would be different until in the 4th year of the relationship he introduced me to his elders as his workmate, I was devastated but it was also a wake up call for me. I started connecting all signs I had previously ignored and decided it was time to let go, still in healing process but I have achieved more than I did in the 4 wasted years. Plus it's really hard to have future relationships when there is still an old one in the pic. Most ex's just can't be friends bc someone is gonna have it in the back of their mind that one day maybe they'll get back together and it might sting once somebody actually does move on. Staying friends in my opinion for most just gives out false hope. I'm grateful of how much I've learnt and thank you to all the tens of content creators that have contribute to give me a clearer picture. Those mistakes of the past won't happen again.

Oh man, this guy nailed it! Been used as a company-doll the past 5 years by three different guys. They didnt want sex, two of them not even to meet but only to use me as a source of validation for one of thel and the other one tood me straight out some days ago "For the attention" Seriously, he talked to me all day long every day, offered me a ton of money when I needed that (no, I didnt take it) and even told me he loved me, which I ofc didnt believe, he kept an eye on my every social media and said he didnt want me talking to other men, yet it was only for attention he used me. So I left. And I already feel better.
This is true & although it may hurt you have to be the bigger person & walk away. (Staying will only hurt you more) When you realize your value you won’t settle for anything less. Rise up & Choose you♥️
Yep!! A man has to know he can lose you in order to keep you. Also a man-child keeps you around until he finds something he really wants. He is using you period. A true man won’t normally play these games. Also simply put people get bored and they want something new and different. This typically happens between years one and three. All relationships are eventually a pain in the ass.

I was holding on to someone I didn’t want anymore. Not that I didn’t want him anymore but the love was no longer there. I became resentful for him for putting me in situations that I didn’t feel happy about such as a pregnancy because I wanted to have that with the right person. Sometimes people will try to trap you with a pregnancy because they see you as their best option but you truly have to learn to take accountability and learn that you’re the one who can close the door giving them the access to your life. Now I have a beautiful daughter that I love and I hope that the right man will come into my life looking for the same things as I. I know he’s going to be a good father who has love to give and desires nothing more than peace and creating a beautiful family together ❤️
Your situation is similar to mine. I had to fight to leave the controlling dynamics including harassment & stalking. The mind games altered my perceptions of self but i stayed true to god in faith, my kids and self ❤ i wish your family a lhappy life of love ,security and comfort🙏🙏
When i realized many/too many mistake kindness for weakness, i decided to be kind only to myself. Worked wonders for my self-respect, self-confidence, my SELF.
Yes, we always know when they've lost interest, yet they don't ever leave. Women that hold on become treated as doormats and loose their self-worth. Respect yourself. Love yourself more and move on
I cut it off with a guy because he lied to me and I saw him out with other women. He never followed up with me to see if I was ok. Three years later he approached me and he wanted an explanation on why I quit talking to him. He also told me he missed me. No one should ever have to explain themselves on why they ended it with someone when the person they left never showed any emotions of how it all ended.
I had a man do the exact same thing to me. I really liked him, he led me on and was so sweet but he had a couple major red flags and one of them was that he was too close to his female best friend, and he was ALWAYS hanging out with her, more than me and he would tell me how much he liked me through text while putting ALL OF HIS ENERGY CHOOSING TO HANGING OUT WITH HER rather than me, and he told me she was in love with him 🤦🏻♀️. I met her once and that was it he had no desire to hang out with me again. I didn't know what I did wrong, I cried and felt so rejected. He told me I needed better than him. I finally got over it after a few months, met someone else and never looked back, he tried over the years to come back and even said I was the one that got away. I remained kind to him but I never went back. I'd be single before giving it another go with him. And this was 10 yrs ago lol Good luck to you. Stay strong. It gets easier as time goes on.
Very well said , " when your feelings mean more than your self respect you'll let people take advantage of you " !! You need to know your self worth no matter how you feel. When he's shown you he doesn't want you you have to choose YOURSELF and let him go stop letting him use you !!! Goes for any situation, friendships, family members. Only go where your truly appreciated not tolerated. ENERGY NEVER LIES
If a person didn’t treat right in the relationship. They’re unable to do after your are gone! I’ve always believed that if he let’s you go, that’s the message! He needs a back up to the back up if you allow him to remain in your space! Women need to stop playing the “clean up woman”! They fail to realize they keep the two together in the relationship that they were brought into! The other party is priority over you!
People really need to start learning that situations like this are more reflective of them than you. A healthy person doesn’t keep someone around out of convenience. They stay single and can be alone and meet new people in a more neutral space. Holding onto someone until someone better comes along is an extremely ego centric and emotionally immature person. Start reading these situations for what they actually are and let them go.
