@@RevSheldon In the Therigatha, stories of the Enlightened women disciples of the Buddha, there is a commentary story that the man mentioned who first met the Buddha after the Buddha’s enlightenment, he leaves his wife but struggles, the wife goes off and ordains and becomes enlightened and I think eventually gives the teachings to he EX that causes him to become enlightened.

In Lanzarote, sometimes I feel the back of my neck burn. But I do not recommend it. I like the Buddho mantra to concentrate. Regarding what Ajahn Sona shared. I used to live in a really big city. Lots of entertainment, acquiantances, trips, substances... now that I moved to a house in the middle of the Atlantic, though not as a isolated as Birken, I realised how little I need. Well... Currently, my desktop pc would probably be a good challenge. My coldest experience has been minus 21 and I had to load coal on a ship and clean snow from a road. I was very unaware of the power of cold and wore no gloves. My fingers almost froze.... haha. Good day!

Lanzarote looks lovely (as does all of the Canaries), I sometimes watch the Airport webcam.
