Thanks for watching guys, love goes out to you all. This video was inspired by the TRUE CRIME Loser series on Jodi Arias. Go check him out - ru-vid.com
She does that because she is uncomfortable someone who does yoga or something like that does it to relax not only the mind but the muscles so she is trying to keep her thoughts as straight as she can
*video fast forwards 5 minutes* "and the waitress told me that they only had white chocolate.. and I wouldn't normally mind that but my friend Charlotte-" *video fast forwards again* "but I've heard from people who visited the temple and they said that it's a spiritual experience that's kind of like-" "Jodi why did you do this?"
Jodi's answer would actually go more like: "I like Cheesecake. I think I like it more because of the little bit of lemon. Lemons are so good. We used to have a lemon tree in our backyard growing up."
I just have to say how disgusting her defense team's strategy was. A man is murdered, and not only do you twist it to being self-defense, you have to directly accuse the victim of being a pedophile
"If Travis were here today he would tell you that it wasn't me (sob)." What rotten luck, the one guy who could have cleared her name and she went and murdered him.
I find their composure really amazing. Like, they are face-to-face with a evil person. They know that person possibly comitted a crime, killed someone in the most gruesome way, still as they haven't confessed yet, you can't do anything, you can't accuse or arrest them immediately, instead you have to treat these monsters with respect and show empathy, so they open up to you. It's a really tough job, but amazing.
You're not wrong.. we've all been hurt/scorned, but turning to murder is beyond the norm.. just move on, heaps of fish in the sea.. join a bloody gym, but the way she went about it, she's long gone!!
@@rubykarayiannis7693 ah yeah, your right. My own example was I wanted to move on ,but she pretended to be pregnant... for a week....till I eventually got to the bottom of it. As JCS said, "a certain thought process began to occur "
1:26:09 my FAVORITE PART of this interview, is when the male detective is finally starting to push back and it’s clear to Jodi he doesn’t believe anything she says, no doesn’t even want to hear it, and he leaves the room. The tongue smack noise she makes because she wasn’t able to get him on her side is incredible 😂 I love it
she was like "havent you heard of 'Believe all Women' or 'Me too' well, you should, I mean you will hear about it in about 5 years from now..."@@timothyfinch7295
Watching her try to manipulate the officer and changing tactics to try to convince him of her innocence is actually kind of hilarious. He’s such a good actor because I would have laughed in her face. Love how he keeps bringing her questions back to Travis.
She wasn’t exhausted or terrified. She was giving them exactly the behavior they were looking for. She knew what she was doing. She was using them as practice to master her tactics of manipulation. It’s a game and it’s her favorite game to play
"You know I'm ultra religious, I even have more than ten commandments which wasn't enough for me to show my strong belief, so I have no power of taking people's life, only god allows who dies and who lives, I did not take his life, the knife and gun did which was held by the angel of death and god allowed him to die, I would never hurt him even if he dump me and invited another woman to vacation..."
Watts didn't even try; he smirked about his family missing rather than trying to look at least a bit worried. I really think he's worse than Jodi, there couldn't ever be a plausible reason to kill innocent little girls.
@@greasylimpet3323Which makes it all the more worrisome that I STILL see comments from people saying that he did it because of his unhappiness. Especially males because they berate women for filing for divorce based on unhappiness, but will excuse a baby killer for their own egos...
@@KangwithoutaKangdom I hope you don't think I'm condoning anything Watts did? I can see how two adults could argue, but those two little girls - there's no excuse for anything he did to them (and Shannan too) It's inconceivable to anyone normal.
I know, right? Knowing they also had out that picture of him and the guy trying to tell her he knows she did it while she lies … just extremely heartbreaking. Evidence right there and it’s like Travis really is trying to tell them “yes, her. SHE did it.”
just a warning, the post mortem photos of Travis are EASILY accessible and highly disturbing. what this woman did to Travis is beyond sickening. I couldn't even recognize him
The fake crying when she went on about running away, being cornered, and then trying to fight off the attackers, is ridiculous. It’s almost laughable if only a man hadn’t lost his life because of her. @@
He just knows that the more (crap) people waffle the more they get themselves in trouble. So, ANY bs is welcome. That is NOTHING saintly, on the contrary. It is rather the fake calmness of someone deceptively sweet and supportive; a predator patiently waiting for their prey to have rambled themselves into the corner.
For me that's Jody saying I should have worn gloves not I would have I think she was saying she regrets not wearing gloves but the thing is she could have worn gloves and a condom suit LMAO everyone would have known it was her she's the psycho in his life nobody else would want to hurt him
I was in the penitentiary for less serious crimes and no matter what you do guilty or not. When a cop says hello you say lawyer..... this terrible horrific crime would probably have had a different outcome if she had said nothing....
she never confessed anything. The interrogation was basically fruitless except for impeachment. Showing the jury how well/how often she lies. The undeniable evidence such as pictures and gas cans put Jodi away for life by a brilliant prosecutor.
Something the detective said still sticks with me - Travis was unrecognisable after his death, he had spent a week in a damp bathroom after he and Jodi's 'shower', so there was no chance of an open casket at his funeral, which is a common practice for the LDS church as a final goodbye with dignity
@@heteroclitus Ikr, don't deprive yourself of all the wonderful things life has to offer... like eating jailhouse food, keistering shanks, and having a prison boyfriend named Big Herc.
I really want to know what specific detail she was trying to gather from the photos.... it was so so important to her! She must have thought she had an absolute winner of a story planned, IF she could get this particular detail secured.
I watch this channel regularly, have seen all the videos countless times, was a patron for a while but the line "the travels of Jodi and the sweet Mexican" bring me back to this video in particular time and time again.
I finally checked out the crime scene photos of this and they are brutal. To think that she could do something so sinister and psychotic is insane. Humans are capable of horrible things. His face is unrecognizable in the pictures. I hope she hates the rest of her existence.
One of the many reasons I love this channel. The subtle, yet devastating roasts are world class. The professionalism in the way he narrates leaves me unprepared for the punch line almost every time.
It's so beautiful! We're all getting the giggles because of this elegant and vicious roasting of this deluded and murdering waste of skin.... "Is it because I'm not crying?" Disgusting with every sentence!!!!👿😡
Everyone did so well dealing with this harpy, but my favourite person in this case definitely has to be the prosecutor. I love how absolutely ruthless he was with her, shutting down ever stupid tangent she'd try to branch off to. The investigator really was not lying when he said something along the lines of "I've met him, and you do not want him cross examining you instead of me".
@@thatskykidfreya hahaha that's what it is called in psychology when you accidentally say anything that even you didn't catch on unless pointed out, reflected on or after some time. It's said that it came from your unconscious part of your mind which you don't have full control over. So even if you try to hide it, it can slip into reality unconsciously since it is already stored in your brain. It being info from reality Sorry, I got carried away
he knows exactly whats at stake here. he knows if he acts wrong or annoyed about one thing she says, he may not get the confession and this cold-blooded killer will go free. i can only imagine the amount of restraint it takes...
@@faradillaputri2480 No they're right, you can't give the defense ANYTHING, and while the other evidence is a slam dunk you don't know how the trials go. He still has to give 100%.
Yooooo when the detective asks if anyone else was there and she goes into the "masked intruders" story... I would love to be able to watch his face while she goes on and on!
"Well I didnt know if the shot stopped him and was still fearing for my life so I did what I had to do" Investigator: "Jodie, ya shot the man the forehead"
At 25:35: "You would go into his house when he wasn't there". If it was me, and that wasn't true, I would interrupt, and say "that's bullshit", or words to that effect. And I'd be pissed off. What a thing to be accused of! Nothing from our Jodie, though. And she's totally still. I think most people who hadn't done that would openly react in some way.
This may be my favorite detective... Jodi: "I believe in the butterfly effect" Detective: "like Travis would never had died if you never met him" Jodi: "YEA!" Detective: "because you killed him."
I was 7 or 8 when this trial was going on and, being a Phoenix native, didn't get any reprieve from it when my parents turned on the news. Even when I was so young I thought she was crazy or at least not getting honest
