You know, I''m sorry to say that, but the jury... probably made the right decision. The gut feeling that Casey was obviously suspicious and had "guilty" written all over her face aside, the actual evidence against her was circumstantial at best. Such situation should lead to an aquittal, it's called presumption of innocence. Sorry to break this to you people but if criminal gets away free because of insufficient evidence... that's generally not a bad thing. It's how the justice system is supposed to work. And the fact that Casey was creepy, googled something about chloroform,, lied constantly about everything, showed no slightest care for her daughter's well being, and even seemed happy she was gone - does make her a cunt, but doesn't count as evidence she murdered her.
Thing is, even if the story about her father being abusive were true--and you know what, I'm not as quick to dismiss it as some are, I don't think many people in the comments understand the psychological toll it takes on a child to be subjected to sexual abuse from a family member and have to put up an act of a functioning person, and there is CLEARLY something very wrong with her and the way her instinct is to lie even to her own detriment--she's clearly guilty anyway. Like, no relation. She killed her daughter. What's anything else got to do with it?
I commented this on the first part but to me it feels so offputting how he always uses the words like "need" and "want" when expressing thoughts about his family @ 4:15. Since we know his intentions are disingenuous, his words comes off as someone who has always gotten what he wanted, he sounds like a spoiled kid and his wants and needs aren't for the safety and wellbeing of his family but just a self gloating farse to appear as someone who is worried. He thinks this is what a desperate person would sound like but there is a difference between the genuine desperation of a worried person and the fake desperation of someone who thinks they're fitting the act of a "worried husband"
He uses a lot of sentences that are geared towards what he "wants" he wants the kids to come barelling hugging him etc. almost as if he is still saying these things with the innate need to always have what he wants with no regards of the other person.
"It happened a million years ago" ? She said THAT a million times. 😂😂😂 She obviously was born at the beginning of time itself when the Earth was just being formed. 😂😂😅 Also, did anyone else notice how fast she said she DIDN'T attend the wedding? I mean she said it like twice. As if the thought itself was disgusting. Not that by any stretch of the imagination is she an attractive woman, her expressions just make it worse. The craziest expression in my opinion is when she does that look of a crazy old toothless woman chewing.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I have to stop watching this. It's good when I want to laugh.😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
2:01:33 This shot of the people in the background fkn wrecked me. The guy in the green shirt trying to keep it together, the guy behind him in the striped shirt is doing the same, multiple people with heads in their hands... this hit HARD.
She s playing so badly the naive, childish, almost idiotic innocent kid,… you realize at once how fake, how evil she is. And way too loud! I can’t watch it!
someone had threw their drink on Casey while in the club- she literally called the cops on them, but the cops didn’t do anything, but were very courteous to her. She was so upset. Sucks that she got away with murder, but I’m glad that people who know who she is, would always shun her. She won’t ever be truly happy.
