Wyndham Credit Card is also known as an Rewards Earner card. It is a hotel card for those who like to stay at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Wyndham is a Visa card issued in partnership with Barclays Bank. The card has two retail versions: Earner that has no annual fee. The other is Earner Plus with a $75 annual fee. Their key benefit of Wyndham Card is signup bonus. You can earn 75,000 points after spending $2,000 within 6 months. Other credit cards require you to spend within 3 months. You can earn 2 points per dollar spent on dining and at grocery stores. Other cards offer much better cashback or rewards. You can get 5 points per dollar when you stay at Wyndham hotels. You can also get an annual bonus of 7500 points when you spend $15,000 per year. How much are Wyndham Reward points worth? They claim that 75,000 points is worth up to 10 free nights. In worst properties it may give you 10 free nights, but I would expect a couple of free nights at most. I estimate that each Wyndham Reward point is worth about half of a cent.
On the other hand, Wyndham sells 1 point for 1.3 cent. Points expire 4 years after they are earned. One benefit that you may find interesting is Gold status at Wyndham properties. However, it is not worth much. It gives you free wifi and late checkout. Platinum status is for Rewards Earner Plus members. I would say it is not something worth much. You can rarely use most of the benefits anyway. Low intro APR for 15 months may be something interesting if you are rolling over some debt. Overall the Wyndham Credit Card has very few benefits. You can get better benefits from other cards.
