Great balance with your video Mark. Very easy to follow. The use of lots of first person view, and avoiding smothering us with music, is nicely immersive. Thanks for your consideration. There was lots of helpful information in the content.

@@SimHangerFS You have no idea how close to reality the shaking of the screen in your video, reminds me of the same shaking I experienced when looking at the various gauges. In your above video, it's most probably caused by the VR, but when you experience it first hand as I have done when flying ( I was not piloting BTW ) it's amazing to see. On another note, don't be envious of this flight, it was to try and find a dear friend who went down in a 172 float plane in Northern Quebec.

Excellent, thank you Mark. You can always 'flick-on' the G2 if you don't like it , and not have the doubts about not trying it. I'm not a VR fanboy or user myself, so wouldn't know what the difference is/was. But. . . . . . unless you try something, you will never know. In these times of slow/poor/non-existent deliveries, it might be better to stay on the waiting list. I'm still waiting for my Beta Control Panel which should have been delilvered early November, and now it seems, might not be this year at all, - but will I cancel my pre-order? - Crap NO! Stay well, go well, and thank you once again. All the very best from NZCH.

Great video and flying. It looks like a fantastic bush plane, the Beaver is legend! Why didn't you buy the Orbx North West US scenery? For VR and VFR flying it would make such a difference. As for me, I don't have VR, my video card isn't up to speed... I use a low profile computer box connected to my TV and only have the GTX1650. I also moved on MSFS2020 which I find very enjoyable to fly VFR with. I wish this editor will propose a Beaver edition for MSFS one day. Keep safe!

Sound: The prop sound should not be audible inside. Also I feel the sound for idle is not correct. Otherwise the plane looks great.

No warm-up time? Oil pressure and oil temp? What about run-up check with magnetos and prop reverse?

Just bought the plane but couldn't find the little arrow on the left side...help pls! Oh and the plane also in float condition, not touching the ground.

Restart the sim after install. If not fixed redownload aircraft and reinstall. Regards

Hi Mark, I just bought this airplane and it does indeed look great, but I can’t activate it in Xplane 11.53... it doesn’t prompt me for a serial number and doesn’t have that “arrow” button on the edge of the screen. As a result, I can’t access the menus, which means I’m stuck with that crazy spinning prop and no instruments on the panel... any suggestions you may have to fix this will be appreciated... thx, Joey

Update the aircraft via the built in updater...skunkworks I think. This will then bring up the option to activate. Also turn X camera off if on. Regards

Thank you for the prompt response, Mark. I installed the Updater and it appears in the Xplane plug-in list but is not “clickable”... it just says “SkunkCraft Updater show/hide”... how do I activate it?... thx again.

Sorry, Mark, I re-installed the airplane but nothing changed... I can still see the plug-in but not access it... I even changed a parameter in the plug-in config file (StartDisable=false, changed to true) but nothing changed...

Check in your Xplane 11 directory / Resources / Plugins that SkunkWorks Updater is installed. If not install it directly forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/144828-updater-download-page-v25-available/

@@SimHangerFS And I, still have a dilemma whether to replace my Rift S with G2 ??? The image certainly gives way to the G2, but with my i7 8700K and 1080Ti I can fly smoothly in most scenery with SS = 1.7. If I wasn't afraid of stuttering, I would probably buy a G2. I still hesitate.
