Again, I don't know how else to title this. The final Dhar Mann video of his April 1st stream. I still have more from other dates. / ymshighlights / adumplaze
Ending prediction: Dhar Mann doesn’t promote him, gives him a speech in that slow condescending way he always narrates, and then the big twist is “How could you say those things to Larry? Your own son!!”
"Simba is devastated by the accusation of racism, made by kimba. As this was happening, kimbas quality went down. While simba's quality went up. Eventually, simba won a lot of awards, while kimba went downhill and committed blackface. Eventually, simba happens to run in to kimba in a yms review video"
Simba: So you see… you shouldn’t call someone racist just because they’re owned by a soulless corporation… because they might eat you. Kimba: Wow… I never thought of it that way… I just thought… that our names were similar… mmm suspicious. *Simba eats Kimba*
"You should never look down on someone. Because one day, you might end up looking up to them." I like that the moral in every Dhar Mann video appears to be that you should be good to others and not look down on your "lessers", not because it is the right thing to do, but because your lesser might actually prove worthwhile down the road, thereby having been deserving of your respect all along.... lovely stuff. Changing lives.
Editing this made me want a sub. So I ordered one for dinner. Good shit. Thank you for giving me the idea to order a Jersey Mike's sub for the first time in over a year, Dhar.
There's a place I've lived next to for over 20 years called Mr. Submarine and I barely go there. They have really good subs though I just never went cause it looks exactly the same as when I was a child.
Adam then runs into Jon Favreau a few months later who is now a multi-millionaire (even more so than he already was) and Adam then has to ask Jon for a job working on the live action Lion King 3
Dhar Mann is the one rich kid from high school that saw one, single anti-bullying PSA and acts like they're better than everyone else because they loosely follow it.
He's a convicted criminal who's embezzled literally millions of dollars from taxpayers and has a felony record. I'm pretty sure he doesn't think he's better than anyone else. But he sure does play that persona for money.
@@imperialquietus9977 Oakland, CA, if memory serves. And I'm sure it was far more than tens of thousands of dollars, even if that's all they could trace; you don't get a dozen felonies for something that light.
"My goal is to be regional manager". I love that Dhar Mann is so fucking out of touch with what regular people or lower income people experience that he thinks both that regional manager allows for a better life, and is something people aspire to.
Nobody I mean, Dhar Mann is so wholesome he transcends man and just knows the context of any tweet he sees. He doesn’t know that the “best employee” is a massive twat but trust me he knew that this man was bullying the other.
I'm convinced he's gonna post his Lion King Review half finished, and the other half of the video is like an edited together version of all these Dhar Mann reactions
I like the implication that you should be nice to fast food workers on the tiny chance you might have to work for them someday and not just that fast food workers deserve to be treated with respect inherently because they make you food and work hard in poor conditions
Seriously how many times can they just use the exact same script over and over and over again? Persona A: Is happy and have goals! Person B: NYAHHHHH! Person A: Me sad... Person B: I’m sad too... Persona A: I’m ok now me Million dollar person. Person B: Oh boy I really lived to regret it this time
Note how the message of the video isn't "Don't bully people 'cause it's wrong", but instead is "Don't bully people on the off chance that you have to ask them for a job, 'cause that would be really embarrassing for a minute". Also like that Dhar Mann kinda shits on his own company by saying the guy can't get hired with his resume working for Dhar Mann.
I don't think he's even OUT of high school lol One of the weirdest milestones growing up was the first time I said to a friend "remember back in high school" It was only about a month after we graduated, but it just felt so odd referring to it in past tense. Point is, "wait till everyone still in high school sees this" is a laughably stupid comment to even make lol
Damn, Larry went from minimum wage sandwich artist to senior district manager in less than a year? Is this what I could have done if I applied myself at the gas station once in two years?
@@Sugarman96 Clearly I didn't get bullied by my former high school classmates enough, or I'd be a highly ambitious go-getter like Larry. Is that the real lesson here?
@@donnylurch4207 it's fine, just go back to high school and find someone twenty years older than you to be your bully. You should be right on track for success.
Plot twist: this is biographical of what happened to an actual Dahr Man executive and now is demoted to working as an actor in his videos. The irony is palpable
@@ByzantineDarkwraith It's probably just a money laundering front. He's already been caught running scams in the past. I really think this, and TONS of other shit(like Sharknado) from Hollywood that is CLEARLY made with people saying "ah fuck it, if it looks bad it'll be funnier" the whole time are just money laundering scams(which is why they've spent the last decade in a panic, we got to watch weinstein toppled, nad the industry was actually shook for a moment when all the glitz and glamor failed to hide the secrets, fortunately we all know what happened to his little buddy Epstein, so we can go back to watching emotionally manipulative trash like this and being told we're good people for LiKiNg ShArInG AnD SuBsCrIbInG To SuCh A DiVeRsE AnD InClUsIvE ChAnNeL!!!!!)
Legit should have ended in the worker snapping after the bully purposely dropped the stuff on the floor, and the worker just pushes his face into a panini press. Like the level of commitment the dude was to harassing this guy is unreal, so detached from reality.
the thing i hate the most about dhar mann's videos are that they always have happy endings, but not (solely) because they're cheesy; instead of showing ways a person could respond in a situation like that without doing something they may end up regretting, they all basically just instill the idea that people who do bad stuff will get punished for it eventually, which is obviously not always going to happen in real life. you could argue that his videos aren't actually meant to be taken that seriously but with how often he brags about how he changes lives i don't know.
I love how every single apology in a Dhar Mann video is basically 'I'm sorry you're now in a better position than me, but if I ever get back above you, I'll go back to my old ways.'
Dhar Mann: "Don't be mean to the working poor guys. It's not nice." Dhar Mann literally five minutes later: "HAHAHA THIS MEAN GUY BECAME A JANITOR ONLY LOSERS WORK IN LOW-STATUS POSTIONS LMAO!"
“How embarrassing” Why does Dhar Mann always think poor people are *embarrassed* by being poor? I’d feel perfectly fine working minimum wage food service, that’s just life. What’s embarrassing about it?
Man, I was certain that after he gives him the job, it would fade cut to the older guy wearing the same uniform, and Larry saying "smile" and taking a picture of him, but then he puts the picture on the wall for employee of the month or something. I guess that's a little too clever for a Dhar Mann video.
I recall some training I had on the hiring process in dealing with references. I think legally the most an employer can do is ask if the previous employer would recommend that employee, at which point the previous employer can only really say "yes" or "no". Anything beyond that is liable for lawsuit shenanigans IF it gets found out.
You're normally allowed to ask the guy to provide references, but you can't force them and they're allowed to pick who the people are. Honestly you'd have to be really stupid or totally lacking in self-awareness to end up with bad references.
I remember my boss talking to me about how he wanted to bad mouth a really lazy coworker, he just wanted to be honest about them. But he told me about how he couldn't actually say much other than answer yes or no to some of their questions.
Future comments: Fun fact: That dude who makes the Dhar Mann videos is actually some furry that made like a 3 hour analysis of whether simba was plagiarized or not.
I want the sequel to be Tod and Larry’s wedding. ... But then Tod takes all of Larry’s money and runs off to start a rival sandwich franchise... but it fails. So he goes back to Larry who forgives him again and they renew their vows. There’s just so much potential for these Dhar Mann stories...
I love how Dhar thinks writing Larry the Loser is the most creative, insulting, and comical name to make fun of someone with like he should be getting an award for his writing skills.
I don't doubt Dhar Mann Studios has a bullying policy but I'd assume it applies to, you know, workplace bullying? Not random Facebook posts that contain the word loser. I think Todd could just sue based on that.
Of the "Subs, Soups, Salads" on the glass front of the "WhatSub", most of the time only "ups Sala" is visible, which phonetically is the German equivalent to "Whoops". This has nothing to do with anything, but that's pretty funny to me right now.
Had something sort of like this happen. Graduated with a bachelor's in biology with a chemistry minor. Applied to 100 jobs and the only one I could get was selling popcorn at the movie theater. Old classmate came in and I instantly recognized her. And she happen to recognize me too. We weren't friends, just knew of each other. And I was making $7.25/hr. 😅
Don't look down on 'low-level workers' cause you might work for them one day? How about just, don't make fun of people even if there are no obvious consequences??
I would have lost it if they would have had the idea to have had Larry Wearing the tie he was given that day. Full circle. But nah, just some random tie.
The more I watch Adam react to these videos, the more I question why they're so popular. The acting sucks, the dialogue sucks, and the morals make 13 Reasons Why look good by comparison. Who are these videos suppose to be aiming for?
one thing that really gets to me about all of these awful videos is that dhar mann doesn’t ever seem to think “hey, be kind to people”, it’s always “hey, kiss someone’s ass on the extreme off chance that they might get massively rich and successful someday”. maybe just don’t be a horrible person to random strangers regardless of where they’ll be in ten years or whatever. maybe you don’t have to tell the barista or the fry cook that they’re worthless slime because they’re literally just people and they don’t have to be anything more to appease you
The whole confusion with the "Few months later" card popping up reminds me of the joke from Harvey Birdman Attorney At Law where the Jetsons take like weeks to walk from Harvey's door to his desk.
The irony of someone working in Dhar Mann “studios” calling a productive member of society, an integral part of our culture without whom everyone would starve is palpable
@@blaisetelfer8499 what are you on about? Genesis 1:10 And thus the Lord gaveth Adam and Eve the cheeseburger to fill their bellies and the Lord knew it was good. The cheeseburger was the first food, everyone knows that. Duh!
dhar mann follows a draconic scorched earth policy towards people that arent loyal to THE GREAT CAUSE, as depicted in his no bullying regulations' fineprint
Ah yes, going from earning $7.50 an hour to managing hundreds of stores in a matter of *months.* Thank you for this incredibly accurate and relatable depiction of capitalism Dhar Mann, I definitely believe you weren’t born wealthy
Can't wait for the Darman video on YMS that's gonna be like: this guy called "your movie stupid" is bullying this young film maker on his first small feature on the internet, but later on he becomes a Oscar winning director and the online bully is a homeless man outside of the studio. That would be funny lol
I wanna add that there's basically no way the guy who makes sandwiches is going to be promoted to regional manager. these places do not promote from within and I promise you no one working in upper management has ever worked more than a year behind the counter
