have just done this workout as my arches and ankles are in a lot of pain after a long distance run yesterday (too much too soon). This video helped me stretch places that have never been stretched before. Thanks Helen.
interesting points ,if anyone else needs to find out about shin splints medical term try Mackorny Run Fast Blueprint (just google it )? It is a smashing one off product for getting rid of shin splints minus the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my co-worker got cool success with it.
Have started running in the lockdown, being a complete newbie and started suffering ankle and foot pain. This has been a real help for stretching on rest days. Thank you!
I run regularly and lately runners heel has been acting up in my right foot so I do this video for two days after running and find it really helps so much
A good practice, thank you! I was in two minds whether to try it as I'm nursing Achilles tendinosis, but with a rolled-up towel under my heel in some poses it worked fine. The only bit that didn't work for me was the abrupt end to savasana - it would be great if you could stay in the pose with us until the end, then invite us to come out of it mindfully. Namaste!
Oh and yes, I did cut that Savasana too short. I thought I'd give viewers the option of how long to stay there - but I know it's all too easy to come straight out for many! Thank you x
@@HelenClareYoga I just find it disrupts the meditative state if I have to fumble around for the TV remote! :-D My favourite way to come out of savasana is to start by wiggling the toes and fingers, then roll onto my right side and sit up slowly, bring hands to prayer with eyes closed, take a moment to see how the body feels, then open my eyes and bow. xx
