Unsurprisingly we found another paradise, this time in Yosemite National Park at an area called Young Lakes. We spent three nights and four days here. We have not taken any books or other material to distract us, using the time to just be in nature. Blake does some writing and I do some videography, but the majority of our days are filled with sauntering among the mountains and lakes, and finding places to just sit and enjoy nature.
This week a friend of mine who I’ve known for over 40 years, he and his wife will be joining me for several days. I plan to be a tour guide and show them some of my favorite places here in Yosemite. Blake and will have about one week left after my friends leave. We have two short backpacking trips we hope to do to end this incredible journey.
