Oishii!!! My mother passed away in 2016 and I miss her and all the Japanese food she made. When I was sick she would make me rice porridge (she called it soft gohan) with just tofu and shoyu and an umeboshi. She said umeboshi is good for an upset tummy. Your rice porridge looks so delicious with all the added ingredients, I can’t wait to try it! Thank you for sharing your beautiful and tasty recipes💖
Thank you so much!!🥰 Your mother's cooking must have been delicious. My mother used to make rice porridge for me when I had a cold too. Her style was putting rice in leftover miso soup and put some egg and simmer. It was really tasty! I would be very happy if you could try these dishes.
I Hope this doesn’t sound strange, but I love the way you talk, it’s very satisfying to listen to! And thank you for your recipes 😋 I’m trying to eat healthier and these are perfect!!
Haha, Thanks! My English is not perfect, but I am pleased that some people tell me they like my accent 😅 And I'm so happy you liked my recipes. Please give it a try when you have a chance!
I want to learn to cook just to make this breakfast #29. Every bit of it looks appetizing to me and I can tell that I would feel so healthy to eat it! My changes would be to omit all sugar (I know it is traditional but I find I do not like my savory food to have a sweet overtone) and I think I would skip the ketchup for a similar reason. I love eggplant and want the taste of it to shine through without seeming to resemble spaghetti. But those alterations aside, I am elated to see this amazing offering!
Thank you so much!! Yea, please try the rice porridge. About sake, Sake to drink is recommended over cooking sake. Since cooking sake also contains salt and sugar, it is better to use sake for drinking to fully enjoy the umami and richness of sake. Any brand is fine!!
Also we’re having salmon for dinner and I always do a rice bowl with it. I put the rice in first and then a piece of fish on top then soy sauce and we’re gonna have broccoli tonight so that’ll be good with soy sauce cause I think my dad will steam it but I’m not sure tho
I think Japan traditionally use often something to eat connected green tea flavor. I★ eat_like_ love cabbage and spiniach though. I can not skip learning sauces for salad in japanese style. To set the first meal of a day, digestive, light and healthy containing consumption of *Fish*starting a day important. ❤Thank you for teaching. This week is not also finally in the end. A~! so much harsh trainning. • Friday / March / 8 / 2024 5:18 am
