In the end, Zhuge Dan flew yoo close to the sun & got burned. But hey, at least he dragged Wen Qin down with him. Gotta count for something, right?

Now i think i had some understading of what Sun Tzu wanted to say in the huge importance in relation to the choice of selecting the right general in a task using the three rebellions in Huainan as pratical example, because each of their leaders created some difficulty in this matter: Wang Ling was extremely grateful for his benefactor in Cao Shuang which means that a possible betrayal due to a sense of retribution was a risk to the Sima Clan. Guanqiu Jian on the other hand was a general who despite his competence and good performance in the military he was extremely loyal to the Cao familiy which meant he won't tolerate any disrespect or disloyal acts against them who turns him in a menace to the Sima banner. Zhuge Dan of all the tree figures,at least in my perspective,was the most dubious and difficult to read because of his extremely prideful nature and view of himself as figure of virtue and justice turns him quickly or in a ally or a enemy without much guarantte of loyalt for the Sima controlled imperial court.

The irony of Wen Qin. His purpose for fighting Wei was entirely selfish, he simply wanted a promotion that Sima Shi didn't give him. Yet he lost his life for something that is arguably not selfish of him; when food was low, he could have argued for more rations for himself but instead he argued for the Eastern Wu soldiers. Also, will the fate of Zhuge Dan's family be revealed at the end of the Fall of Wu series?

Y'all might not believe me but I am watching Serious Trivia's Sun Quan with the Chibi mod for the last couple of days. Zhuge Dan has been doing well with ST. That would have been a better ending for him (thus far) compared to this. 😮

Have you considered doing a compilation video for each lore series/playlist? I've seen it before with other channels, where the individual parts got a certain number of views but, for some reason, the compilation got significantly more (though might not be a guarantee). It also provides a chance to fix/edit out mistakes or to add more information if you wished to. But it is just an idea, no worries.
