I don’t know, every time I see a new synth added I feel so overwhelmed. They’re cool and all that, but sometimes I feel I just want to have a single mono synth and tweak and layer the hell out of it.
I've recently discovered that one of my favourite things is when I'm watching a YT tutorial like this and the creator is clearly really enjoying themselves 😄
Hi Oscar, just a few words to say thank you for your videos, I appreciate how you share your thoughts and advices to built proper techno tracks. Cheers from France!
Oscar.. Oscar! HEY Oscar!! Just to let you know that... I need more tasty tips 'n tricks on 90's dance production... Just a little.. You know.. Wink wink.. 😉
I'm a lover of Reason 12&I'm classically trained.no chord knowledge bass,as it was a flute.I do use it as a stand alone.I've also got Cubase 10pro,but it's a bit more daunting.love reason for cv behind &the good old combinator.anyway, few more tutorials in reason when you can.although keep on the good work squire
My generation was dancing to this way way back music always comes full circle still dancing and love it its time for you younger generations to enjoy which i still do ❤ music for your mind body and soul ❤❤
It's really easy to slap a reverb and chorus after a synthesizer, but if your synth has reverb built in, no post processing will take it off. When you want a sound that sits in the mix, you don't want all those effects on it. It's often better done on a master bus where you can have some consistency. I love your channel. Thank you so much!❤
To all mixers/producers: Please STOP teaching people to use compression! This is a relic of the past which has ruined HiFi audio. It was useful for radio and lesser so for phonographs with poor preamp design. These relics have caused the industry to lag behind. Modern stereo equipment is fully capable of playing tracks with higher dynamics. What SHOULD be taught is to master all tracks at an industry standard around 85 dB RMS. These loudness wars are obnoxious. I understand the subjective and marketing research, but that’s such a sleazy excuse for lower quality production.
Im shocked my jbl earbuds went all the way down to about 40hz before I couldn't hear. Explains why Ive been through 10 pairs of generic earbuds and jbl's are my favorites.
Loving Push 3 for its MPE capability and user interface. Browsing the presets in live 12 suite makes me feel like a food looter having a bad day. Is there any reliable and fast solution out there, to get rid of the preset trash all over the place and replacing it with something well made? I’m a hobbyist wanting to play music, not clicking around the whole day and fatiguing.
Hi Oscar I need your help.. do you by any chance have a chart of ableton keyboard shortcuts, whats stuck im my head is shortcuts of flstudio, Reason Essentials amd Pro Tools.. please hook me up
The best thing for me in Live 12, is screen reader support. Imagine trying to use a DAW without a mouse or display, now Live has screen reader support you can.
