This feels so nostalgic, as a kid that time, I associated this aesthetic with teenagers a lot. I saw them with notebooks with Frutiger Metro art on the cover, the iPods in their pockets and always with earphones on, dressed themselves like this, and loved MTV a lot. In my mind back then, it was the "MTV teenager style". I'm from Brazil, I guess this aesthetic was truly all around.
In my 20's-30's in 90's was so busy rarely watched TV & so missed some of these iconic commercials. That AT&T Twin Towers one caught me completely by surprise, similar to the subsequent TT-tragedy later on itself, made this whole video worthwhile, if for nothing else besides that one. I remember only like maybe 7 of these. Back when these were on TV, i usually wasn't paying attention. I was either outside in my backyard talking with the neighbors kids over the fence. Or i was in the house either in my room or downstairs playing with my toys.
