Hi I'm Ang! Wife to my husband Justin of 25 years and mom to our beautiful daughter Avery. This channel represents my heart for cooking, homemaking, and doing life with those I love. My home and my kitchen is my happy place. I owe that to my mom who navigated family life so gracefully. Here you'll find lots of easy and scrumptious recipes anyone can make, a little homemaking, and a touch of life. I'm so glad you're here!
Ang I have to say these all look delicious and what great quick ideas for any time of the day. Definitely will be trying them all. Can’t wait!! Thank you and God bless ❤
Wow great recipes. I was thinking when you did the ham and cheese. I thought you could do a French toast one adding raisins or chocolate chips, and then you made French toast! Thanks for sharing
My favorite thing to make with English muffins is croutons. Butter one side and sprinkle with garlic powder and Parmesan cheese. Cut into square pieces and bake. Toss during baking. Yum…..the best croutons.
Sandy thank you for this idea! That's awesome because English muffins already have the perfect texture for croutons. No need to wait until you have day old bread.
Hi Ang. It never dawned on me to make garlic bread out of English muffins. I really like Enlish muffins for making breakfast sandwiches, but, as you proved here today, they are so versitile for so many more things. I hope you are staying cool and enjoying your day, dear lady.
Hi Ang, thanks for sharing these recipes…we love English muffins! Quick question for you….have you ever used your microwave pasta cooker for pasta other than spaghetti? I’m considering buying it because our kitchen is currently ripped out for remodeling. 😊💗
Hey Lauretta! I hope you enjoy the recipes! I actually have not used it for anything else other than pasta, but there is a cooking chart in the manual for vegetables, rice, and even potatoes! I would trust it and now you have me wanting to test it out! 😃
@@laurettaberger442 yup! I follow the instructions in the manual exactly and it always comes out perfect. I did try bonza gluten-free pasta in there one time but there was so much starch it was boiling over.
Each one of these recipes is a "keeper." I love anything with cabbage. I have never used rice noodles and i will be giving those a try. Thank you for the great recipes.
Ang, if you’ve never tried it, check out Bush’s Black Bean Salad recipe. I’ve been making this for years, and it’s always a crowd favorite. It includes red, yellow, and/or orange bell peppers, red onion, black beans, corn, cilantro, garlic, and the dressing is equal parts red wine vinegar and olive oil (1/4 c. each), plus a teaspoon of lime juice, salt and pepper. Great with tortilla chips.
I do mention on my website an option to bake the dip. I have never had it hot but I’m sure you could heat it in the oven or microwave. Please let me know how it turns out for you!
