Get out there, be your best self, and see places that the average person will never get to see. That right there.. is the goal of this channel.
My name's Danny Schaefer, and where I call home from day one is right here in North Idaho. I grew up hiking with family, hunting, camping, and everything in between. With that I was always drawn to making videos on my parent's old camcorders.. however, I just really never knew how to pair clips into films. That is until 2017.
In 2017 I bought my first 'vlogging' style camera and a drone, and downloaded an editing software and just started making hiking videos. Over the last few years, that hobby has turned into a passion of mine.. And so here is my Channel: Danny Schaefer. Here you'll find multiple videos pertaining to the great outdoors. If you're reading this, I thank you so much for tagging along. We'll see you on the trails. -Danny
You are not wearing masks in the middle of the pandemic. I was hiking at the same time around Upper Priest Lake when I passed a group that I expected were from Spokane. I told them they needed to wear masks on the trail...like they do in California. One woman said, " Oh, no, this is Idaho."
Awesome! I’ve been lucky to see some pretty spectacular spots over the last few years and I’m glad to get to share them with ya. Thanks for all the support!
I have hiked up to Pear and up to the ridge and over past the view of Revette. Did you just bush whack down from there? I did not see a trail down to the lake, nor up to Granite Peak, which I was looking for.
Yep, you are correct! I got off the main trail from the ridge line and made my way towards Revett by bushwhacking and boulder hopping a fair amount. Does that answer your question? Thanks so much for watching!
Nope! Hoping to get the Boler out for its maiden voyage here soon though. She's not done by any means, but almost to a usable state! This was a short short nature walk. We made it happen in sandals!
Yep 😂 I bet lol I'm stupid tho ima walk 🚶♂️ 3/4 of the way across the country probably live in a homeless shelter for quite a while until I can get out on my own 😊
Its not ugly I live here and when I drive around I look out the window and there is a dang mountain and in just one year I went on 11 hikes that have mountains. To me Washington is one of the most prettiest state because of the mountains. And how is there no trees? There is trees everywhere u look Basically.
Right bcuz it’s way too crowded bcuz it’s so beautiful everyone moved here; & invaded by China & India & all the tech business; started to call it LA north (in spite of overpopulation & evil government selling us to overseas, it’s still beautiful; check out Mt Rainier❤️
