i have an alternative theory that Hesh arranged the hit, he would have felt threatened over how the loan turned out the New York war was costing him money, he has ties to NJ and NY and is from the old school that would not put up with Tony, he basically has the money and connections to make it happen.
by "dissentary" do you mean "Dissension" as in contentious quarelling? What's your accent, I'm hearing English but I'm sensing some perhaps south asian, correct me if I'm wrong.
I personally think The Soprano's actors don't like their fans or something. The TalkingSopranos channel turns the comments off on every video they make. I'm not sure what the deal is with that exactly, but it comes off that way. I know they take questions on other sites, but still. They should allow people to comment and show their appreciation and what they think of the interviews. It's like "We don't care what you guys think, just watch us and listen to what we have to say"
Meadow Soprano is Mary Corleone caught in the crossfire like Godfather 3 in the Sopranos! Meadow having parking problems comes running in as the gunman comes out of the bathroom firing she is shot in the crossfire dies in Tonys arms .. tru mafia would never take a boss out in front of his family & kids extremely bad business could get you whacked too! Meadow is the casualty here!
I think he probably kept drug money form cases. Similar to what Carver and Hurk who was trying to do the same. We Own This City showed how stealing drug money was a thing.
I never thought about Chris having a wire in his cap before watching your video, but him wearing that Cleaver cap always seemed very out of place to me, but I never knew why. I also thought it seemed way too easy the way Chris got away with shooting the professor/writer with the loud gunshot, and just wiping his prints off the door knob and walking away without anyone looking out their peephole or seeing him arrive or leave. The theory if Chris getting caught for the murder, flipping after seeing that nobody respects or even really likes him for that matter, and wearing a wire makes a lot of sense when you look at the totality of the circumstances.
I would like to have seen Tom and Michael end up together with Tom continuing to be loyal and supporting Michael. Maybe the opposition eliminates Tom's whole family so he fully returns to Michael and they move to Sicily together to avoid further reprisal after Mary's death. Or maybe Michael resigns as head of the family but Anthony takes over and Tom with his family move to Sicily to care for Michael as he has become a broken man. Any way you want to write this, Tom is a featured character; second to Michael.
Without Oz, we'd have none of the classics that followed it. It's an amazing show, janky and random but with a storyline that continued. It's comically bad at points and yet it has some cool things that helped shaped narratives. I miss when shows could lack the overproduced nonsense that followed in its wake. It was a play on tv. But yeah. Season 5-6 were not good. But I'm glad it ended.
The crazy part about this movie is Carlito didn’t like Benny bcuz they were the same person at one point. Carlito might’ve projected differently but its the truth. Even Lalo said so. I think he didn’t like who he was back then and Benny reminded him of that guy
Charged me 20 dollars for a pic a few years back. He was waiting on the sopranos tour bus coming back and knew he’d a captive audience. Bit of a creep in real life
On the whole "Bootleg Merch" stuff, he's hardly an A-list actor, whilst I'm sure he's wealthy, he's not going to be in the territory of never having to worry about money. So can hardly grudge him trying to make a living. Tom Hanks he is not. With the best will in the world, his acting credits are sporadic and very limited.
They didn't suspect Marlo killed Prop Joe. Marlo admitted it at the beginning of the meeting. Also the cred in street cred is short for credibility, not credit.
