Hello all, my name is Wild and I’ve got the self-proclaimed best hair on RU-vid & Twitch! My hair may own 90% of my talent and personality, but the rest of me does its best to keep up.
Wild Creates aspires to help others find their passion in creating awesome art with oil and acrylic paints and a few other mediums too. I want to help my viewers discover their talents, grow their passions and find their inner artist. Art isn't about how talented you are - it's about letting your creative juices flow, inspiring yourself and creating something that makes you happy.
I launch new videos on my Wild Creates channel every month. My videos are chock full of tips and tricks, how-to’s, product/service reviews and much more. You can learn how to find your creative self from my awesome videos on this channel or you can watch me paint live on stream at Twitch.tv/Wild4Games. I've helped countless others and now it's time I help you.
Im a teacher. When Bill is rambling on about something, what he is actually doing is having the audience create a mind movie while he adds narration. It's a teaching technique for different types of learners.
Dude, wow, what a super thorough and fantastic tutorial video for this stunningly beautiful mountain painting. Truly amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed watching. Thank you so much for sharing your art, vault of knowledge, and experience!!! Have a great week ahead, Wild! Cheers,
Love this wild! (Sad team purple sounds haha) Been a few years since I last painted but your tutorials make me excited to paint again 😁 Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks for your video. I use water mixable oil, and clean my brushes with water. Is there anyway I can separate the oil paint from the dirty water ?, If I leave the mix even for days the paint does not sink to the bottom. I can't throw away the dirty water to the environment also since it contains the oil paint.
Oh no, you mean I am doing exactly what every artist since the dawn of time has done? How dare I join the ranks of da Vinci and Picasso in borrowing ideas-better pack up those brushes and start inventing new colors while I am at it! 😂😂😂😂
@@WildCreates don't think you join the ranks of any master artists, art is not just about lifting up a brush or palette knife it's about thoughts and feelings and how to work the media you are using. you fail on all of them.
For someone who's supposedly failing at art, I seem to have an uncanny knack for capturing your attention and monopolizing your time. Maybe it's time to reassess how my undeniable awesomeness has subtly yet significantly enhanced your life. Go ahead, take a moment to reflect-and perhaps even feel a little gratitude for the privilege of being in my creative orbit 😉
Do you know if the Bob Ross Liquid Clear you use is toxic? (do you know if there are any carcinogenic chemicals in the liquid clear like turpentine or turpenoid? I know that there are msds health and saftey sheets for these kinds of products on the Internet but I can't seem to find a msds health and saftey sheet for the liquid clear used in your video (the shallower tin one is the liquid clear I am talking about).
You can watch the full tutorial here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EvsuZn8_Kt8.html&t Which has all the colors listed in the video description.
I'm not sure! I'm painting miniatures and props. I love the information overall which led me to this video. I believe I purchased a clear (matte and then a glossy) airbrush primer which I am waiting on. I am interested in painting foam and air-dry clay as props as well.
Hey Wild, if you get a chance could we revisit this subject? I have seen people saying use different types of oils like safflower and others to clean brushes. Have you ever tried it??
This video is more about fixing or restoring NOT so much on just normal cleaning. There are many different flower oils, mineral oils and veggie oils you an use to clean brushes... They are all affect ( just take longer is all ). When I get some time I will do a video on it for ya.
Hullo Wild, I am wondering exactly what is the difference between stand oil and safflower oil? Can they be used interchangeably? Have you tried just using oil for cleaning as well as a medium? I have seen this method of oil painting to eliminate the use of turpentine or petroleum mineral spirits. I am forever confusing fat over lean when thinking about the elimination of thinners like OMS even turpentine based thinners/cleaners. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us "
The first question is a big one for YT so I would say google it for a detailed comparison BUT I can give you my perisomal input on it. Stand oil is thicker than S-flower which allows it to have a smooth/glossier finish (les brush strokes' too). Both dry slow but S-flower dries a tad slower. Stand Oil can yellow over time if used with thick layers while S-flower has less of a chance to yellow. Many keep asking me on how to clean brushes without OMS or Vapors or Chems.... So I will do some research and testing and make a video on it for you all. Hope that helps buddy
