story-wise %90 of them suck, thats why. no creativity whatsoever. most of them try to capture the mainstream through lesser needed shit like graphics. gameplay are mostly repetetive too. games need depth, they MUST create an equal-to-novelseries experience before they start coding. literature needs to be involved more with the gaming scene.
Tip: play the new games 5 years after not in the first day of release. It s a good one for both devs and gamers so the market will be on good trails in the near future... Otherwise... we'll watch the same RU-vid video in 2030...
The pandemic and procesors crysis made indie games growth.. but you have to do to much research to find the one you like and not the one overhyped and well promoted. Otherwise it s not a rule they are better. It s just another option in the game industry pool. Millenials is the biggest part of the gamers pool so they get older and they set the pace and the trend of the game industry. If you follow their expectations and the desires accordingly with their age you have the chance to guess the next succes in the game industry.
@@thatguybis1997 no its really not, if you play through volcano manor youll end up fighting him, and the quest kind of ties in with the main story anyway sooo?
Idc I love free games, I only pay for games if I love them and I what to support the makers Ps. iyouareinterested inPiracygotothe piracysubredditand check out the mega thread
combat system had to be reworked , (combat system had to be destroyed ) fixed it for you i will actually never forgive square for that. but that's just me . the ff9 remake will be action rpg <-- watch in the next few years
Because shareholders have taken over companies, which then make their previous values flee. The games are built more around how much money they'll get, then making a good game. There is no passion, there is no meaning. BG3 did so well, because it did have passion, it doesn't have share holders. They focus too much on graphics, and then the game sucks,
Because you are old in the inside. Im 42, I pay my bills, I work, and I have tons of fun playing old games, new games, etc. First sign you began to die from the inside is this one: to create a nostalgic reality where everything was better when you were young. Things werent better, you was just younger
Rdr 2 (Single player) is really cool indeed. Cheaters and pay to win ruined the online experience. Which is a real shame. Same with Battlefield V when it comes to cheaters. Now CS 2 is going that route too. Overwatch 2 is ruined because they switched from 6v6 to 5v5 and the came became too complex with too many choosable characters. Horizon Forbidden West has such a large map amd huge story, that it just gets repetitive and boring. Cyberpunk 2077 suffered from corporate greed and it took a year to become a good and playable game. Elden Ring is really good. Returnal has a cool concept, but maybe a bit too difficult?
Speak for yourself games are still fun there’s tens of thousands of games out there. Your just too spoiled and or your type of games you want is too narrow.
An actually good game that uses procedural generation.... well, No Man's Sky is actually pretty great now, despite being the modern poster child for PeterMolyneux-itis Also, Witcher 3 was a mess at launch.... not as bad as CyberPunk 2077, but not a million miles away either. For me, at least CDPR has proven they will stick with it and fix their games. I never buy them on day 1, but when I do buy them, I also buy all the DLC. The irony of showing FF7 Remake while railing against remakes, despite FF7 Remake being one of the single most justified remakes ever, not to mention redefining what a remake can actually be, is palpable.
I quit playing cod not only because they are selling us the same 💩 every year, but also because you have to play hours and hours to unlock the meta weapons to be able to use them in Warzone and then they patch that weapon and break on purpose another so you start from the beginning again Not to mention that you can buy bundels and open new weapons without spending the time to unlock them Only free to play games are allowed to have such elements If I pay 70£ to buy a game then I should not have to pay more to get a weapon or even a skin F Activision f Blizzard f EA
idk who told you DMC fans still hate Nero cause that’s not true at all. A lot of the fans love Nero now, maybe when the game first came out he wasn’t super loved but nowadays after the reboot and DMC 5 a lot of people find Nero as a great character
Pays $150 for a game.. instantly gets greated with a screen asking to pay them MORE money. I'm done. There's $10 indie titles on steam that are more my speed now. Hell vampire surviors was a excellent little cheeky romp for 15 - 30 minute sessions. "In defense of mtx" Nah dude. I'm sick of buying a $30 battle pass for a game I already spent $100 to be told well if you can't play 5 hours a day for a month you can't have access to what you paid for. Its scumbag tactics.
Ik this doesn’t have anything to do with Sifu or Absolver but I’d wish we’d get another beat em game similar to Midnight Fight Express I think that game is underrated
They've made games harder and it takes a lot longer to complete. Most people don't have the time nor energy to invest in a game that requires like 100 hour game play for campaigns
You have a lot of valid criticism, but at the same time you’re just whining about the genre of game. These bosses aren’t fair, they never have been. All your criticism of fire giant could be solved by getting rid of torrent, learning the basic move set, and using status effects like black flame. Use game mechanics and boss’s weakness. Stop trying to be a try hard and let the game help you.
Games are more often requiring internet access or even being online-only games recently to circumvent piracy. From my understanding, cracked copies of games basically can't access official servers. My friend who pirates knows more details on that. It's the most widely effective anti-piracy measure outside of a few niche things I've seen. Good service and good performance (non-Denuvo) incentivize purchases from otherwise would-be piraters though, like my friend and I who support even AAA games on principle despite having free reign on trusted, safe piracy websites. No really, they're a tight-knit community out there. Piracy is just another kind of wallet voting IMO. If piracy exists, how do offline games make any money? They do because good games get bought and supported, even by pirates and sometimes even in excess with brand loyalty.
