Hello everyone, it's me Bryson P. Born & raised in Kentucky USA. I'm very curious of the world outside the one I've always known. Watch as an American expands his knowledge of other countries, cultures, economies and more. Thanks for watching & have a great day!

Here where I live in Roanoke Virginia there is a super nice men and women and family shelter and they get their money from donations!!! Thank you very very little from any kind of government grant and the majority of it is from the local wealthy people who give away their families furniture if they pass away or they give away old stuff they don't want so they run a thrift store.. the wealthy people donate money like crazy to this place and they are able to run it really well serving three meals a day even to people who don't live there but might have to go there to eat a meal or two a day.. I think that's probably the best form of socialism you can find because that's a community in which the wealthy and the middle class donate a lot to help those who are poor or just going through rough times that aren't long-term

I'm a capitalist but I do believe in some social programs like we have here in America where everybody pays into a tax pool & we do get public schools and they seem to be better when I was growing up but I've got friends with grandkids who say the schools are really good.. I think it depends on where you live and we live in Southern Virginia.. The most expensive here in the USA is healthcare and a lot of that is because there's not one politician in DC that's not hooked at the hip with big pharma and that's why it cost so much.. we have a good health care system but other countries do as well but my God they're not nearly as expensive.. We have social benefits here in America also for people who are low income or disabled etcetera and I had a nice fat student loan from going to law school but it didn't cost nearly as much as today and I worked as a lawyer and I'll be damned after about 5 years I got systemic lupus rheumatoid arthritis and FMS and I was in agony. I COULDN'T WORK BECAUSE I WAS IN PAIN AND MY DOCTOR WOULDN'T GIVE ME ANYTHING OTHER THAN PRESCRIPTION NON-STEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY MEDICINE AND THAT WASN'T CRAP EXCEPT ME MY STOMACH BLEED SO FINALLY AFTER IN PAIN SO MUCH I WAS HAVING SEIZURES THEY GOT ME ON PAIN MEDICINE AND I WAS PUT ON STEROIDS FROM TIME TO TIME AND PLAQUENIL. I was feeling so much better even in pain still but at least I was able to get back to work for about 10 years before I had kidney failure but when I was out of work, you took forever for social security disability because it's a bureaucratic program... I paid into it but it still didn't matter that it took 5 years to get it.. It's ridiculous here in the United States because the bureaucracy is so big and bloated it screws things up and we spend so much money on 438 administrative agencies when we can live with 200 just fine plus the local in state benefit plans that we pay into as well for the most part and finally I got my backpay and I paid off bills and saved all the rest.. sing me after I paid off the rest of my big fat student loan! I like capitalism but I also think that we do need some of the social programs we do have but the problem here in the USA is that they give them to people who aren't even Americans and it depletes our system

"How's it so safe here?!" Bco the high taxes. Free health care, clean streets, free lunch for all kids in school, free higher education, a solid unemployment system, and social benefits, 5-6 weeks of payed vacation, 480 days of parental leave, etc. - it ain't free, it is subsidised. With taxes.

I'm afraid to say UK is going this way. Growing up in Scotland in the seventies and eighties I walked to school on my own or with friends from age 5. I took my dog for walks in the woods. I knew where I was allowed to go. You do still see kids walking to school and playing outside on their own but it's not as common as it was. I feel sorry for the kids, it must be so frustrating. We lived in a suburb of a smallish town and walked everywhere as we didn't always have a car, and even when we had one, my Dad was the only driver in the family. I'm sure the police and social services are overjoyed to have their time wasted this way

I am from Germany, living here basically my whole life. There are a lot of things that really annoy me about Germany, but my God am I thankful to be born on this side of the Atlantic Ocean. I can´t really understand, how any person from the US (you are not the only Americans, right!? ;D) can seriously believe, they live in the "greates country" in any consideration.... I mean, besides the points, stated in the video, you don´t have a simple universal healthcare system, something, that leads to (as far as my numbers are up to date) the highest infant mortality rate in the whole western hemisphere (imcluding Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zeeland, basically whole Europe and pretty sure some big parts of the African continent. You babies are at a higher risk of just dropping dead, because parents aren´t able to pay for medical care... for a baby... I mean, seriously, guys, what is wrong with your country? The only things. that you have the freedom to is access to weapons of all sorts to get your kids killed in school shootings, if they survive till then and your big companies are free to exploit you people. You even pay for education... for a basic right according to most places in the world. And then, your education isn´t even good, compared to other countries. Sorry for the rant, but as a human being, as a mother of three kids, as a person working full time... I don´t understand how you can bare to live like this without doing anything about it... Maybe someone can explain it to me!?

when in my visits to USA I did try to explain common sense to some. It is because they have been brain washed like the nazi's did to there people. It was slow from children. Now not comparing the US capitalism to nazism at all, which his horrifying. The American person has been subjected to the fear of socialism on media and School. In the interest of the wealthy fear was installed for there self interest interest. Other nations ae not so dumb. Yes give the voting system back to the people one person one vote counted and delivered. The Capitalist advantage is the way the few can dominate and steal to there hearts content, as is proven.

I wonder why so many US Americans claim that "America is the richest country ...". There are lists online with rankings of the richest countries - and the USA is NOT number one on all of those lists but around 8th of 195 countries. The richest countries are Switzerland, Luxemburg and Singapore.

about the Danish Pastries, you are actually not going to find them in Austria, and if you do find something similar they call it a "Copenhagener" as in from Copenhagen, it is correct Austrian bakers did come to Denmark and they did teach Danish bakers to make the special dough of many thing layers with butter in between but what you see today in Denmark has developed from that so it is more of a Danish/Austrian mix than an actually Austrian thing, but we do call it "wienerbrød" meaning bread from Vienna

The way the society teach us to despise the lower class is by labelling as lazy, opportunistic and straightforward ignorant by choice. It is not that simple, the narratives in the media, the church, schools and family meetings are not that easy to see, it is not impossible but to be honest is a hard job we need to do in order to reach the level of awareness of such messages. E.g. aspirationalism is actually also a counterforce for the poverty emphaty, instead of inviting you to take a look at other people who dont have their basic needs provided, it only gives you the idea of how cool would be to make that much money.

If you are a youtuber and only you do all the work, you are working class, no matter how much money you get paid for it. But, if you are a youtuber that hires other people to do the work for a salary, you are owner class, in this particular case; the youtuber owns the channel, which basically functions as an intellectual private property to earn money with it (capital), most likely the youtuber would still be working, but that is like an owner of a company that also works as a CEO, the only thing that would change this scenario is if you get to split all the profit earn by the channel with all the pepole that works for the channel for ever, like paying royalties based on how much work they have put into the video that is giving money, this is hard but possible, in fact it is a real mechanism call cooperatives, it is like all the people working for the channel bein owner of the channel itself, in that regard everyone in the team would still be working class, none of you are making money on behalf on anyones work so by definition all the money the team would be earning (even in the millions) would still be made solely by working, socialist societies would have no reason to oppose to this idea, some of the money got from the cooperative would still be taking as taxes and everyone else should be able to join the project getting compensated depending of their work.

As a British person, I cringe when I see Americans punching the air while shouting "USA, USA..." and saluting a flag. It just signifies a lack of self-confidence and a slavish belief in your so called 'freedoms'. Here in the UK and Europe in general we have more confidence in our countries, freedoms and rights and don't indulge in such slavish behaviour. By the way, managers and higher level skilled jobs are also well padi and all workers have much better workers rights.

The big problem with insurance and education in the US, is that there are institutions/businesses that will let the costs spiral out of control because it isn't their problem. In fact it just makes them more money. A huge chunk of your medical bills goes towards administration. In Denmark things just have to work and it makes sense to get it done for the most effective price possible, so it costs less for the same quality treatment. That's why it's possible.

Social democrats still lick the capitalists boot in hope for crumbs from his table. They just get so little crumbs that the capitalist is ok with it, not having the communists taking the whole table for the working class.

Born in Germany in 1974. I walked alone to kindergarten and back when I was in the last year (5-6) along a very busy road. Walked to elementary school by myself after about two weeks of walking with my mum (so it was clear I knew the way and where to pay special attention). Rode my bike to elementary school from third grade. Rode my bike to secondary school until I was 19 (and had had my driver's licence for a year), then switched to our family car, because we didn't need it for something else during my school hours. Rode my bike around the neighbourhood and on other trips from the age of about 9 onwards unsupervised. Walked in town from around that age on my own, too, going to the public library, doing window shopping at the toy store, that sort of thing. Visited my friends all on my own, too. That is how it was for everyone I grew up with.

Socialism is economic dictatorship. The law of supply and demand is an iron law of reality. Any failure to respect this leads to poverty and violation of human rights. Only capitalism is truly humane and reality-oriented. If you care about human beings, then one would prefer the moral republic of the USA.

Drugs are less in Australia because we have medicare for all, and our government negotiates directly with drug companies and because they are buy all the drugs for the whole country, so that is buying power in the negotiations. Then our federal government subsidies you medications for everyone but the poor and elderly get an even bigger discount.
