This was excellent!! And SO true! I recently started regularly strength training and am very motivated by wanting to keep myself strong and healthy so I can be there for my loved ones and especially my parents as they age (hopefully I’m not starting too late at mid 40s to get myself stronger, ha!). I’m also very motivated to put on more muscle before I got though menopause!! The motivation is key for me! Thank you for this! ❤

I can picture God looking at us saying, "that's so cute" as we believe that we, the creature, can actually not only locate the "origin of life" but hack and control it. As if. The hubris is stunning. So we call it "evolution" and a "problem" to be "solved" rather than just submit our will to the One who can tell us, and provide for us, and solve the real problems we face in our fallen state. The race to the bottom to develop AI-biohybrid super-computing, signals intelligence, ant/swarm intelligence and blockchaining all of life will ultimately fail because only the Creator of life can hack it in the end. I do find our attempts to forensically analyze it super fascinating though!

Great talk!🫶🙏🏻 There are many criteria to follow and estiamte the degree of consciousness behind. Most of them are atributive but clear and not metaphysical. TCM and Auurveda are very abundant with them. Lifestyle is the foundation and all therapies shold start with it. Best od all to your audience Petar Papuga

This was really helpful, thanks so much!! I do get most of my protein from animal sources, as they’re more bioavailable, to my understanding, but I do try to source from regenerative farms, and Certified Humane as well, as I cannot support the horrible conditions for the animals of factory farming. These sources, which are also grassfed and pasture-raised, are also much healthier. Win, win! ❤

How come this isn’t accurate compared to what I’m seeing through the CPT 7 Nasm course?
@JJFiapoko
@JJFiapoko 19 дней назад
For example, you talk about how the medial gastrocnemius is interactive but the course says the entire gastrocnemius is overactive. Just confused what to listen to. Because I obviously want to pass the exam but I also want to know the correct information
@JJFiapoko
@JJFiapoko 19 дней назад
Also, the course mentions that the glutes are underactive when feet turns out and Rick doesn’t mention anything about this.

I kinda agree with him but he is being cocky about not being cocky 😂…. Pointing fingers at people and essentially making fun of people for their certifications and degrees…. Like it doesn’t make you better because you think the certs are trash. I think creating unity instead of whatever this is…. Would be better

I have my fifth NASM certification I have won pull up contest from the biggest gyms. I have videos of me doing pull-ups with three plates on my waist and dips. The best pull up is the synergistic pull up. Where are you engaged? Yes, your grip your biceps, your core. If your body is recruiting your upper trapezius, then it’s most likely that rhomboids mid and upper trapezius is overactive if you look in see where the lats originate and insert that would make sense. It’s better to study the insertion points and the origin of the muscles to truly understand how much muscle is engaged during which form.

Eccentric contraction as I understand it is contraction as the muscle lengthens. So with a squat, would the eccentric phase be as you rise vs lower?
