I ADORE the study of psychology but you've so brilliantly highlighted so many issues with it, especially how it exacerbates stigma and discrimination for women and poc. more research seems to have gone into this than most psychology degrees (definitely some of my professors at least...). I've always found her to be pleasant, intelligent, passionate, & philanthropic. All everyone else can say is how narcissistic & clueless she is. 🫤 Honestly, it makes me sympathize with her! The only thing I am certain about humans compared to animals is: Since I had and petsat a lot of cats, I can say that if cat is a girl, she is more likely to prefer staying in the same area, their territory. I do think gay behaviour does need to be explain in evolutionary terms given the clear contradicton to selection it seems to have on the face of it. The cool uncle/aunt /witchdoctor hypotheses for gay and bisexual behaviour does actually have merit. Having each of your children have a moderate chance of being strongly inclined to go into non-reproductive community labour increases the carer to child ratio and thus improves community cohesion, which would be selected for. That doesn't have the same motivate reasoning and baggage as most of the evopsych bullshit, and actually explains something that seems to need explaining. (I say this as a happily married bisexual guy, just in case anyone is getting incel vibes lmao)

She also all but accepts its a real thing but justifies female pickiness because women risk physical harm and pregnancy when dealing with men. That is exactly what hypergamy is lol.
