The baby will look like its relatives and nobody will know how similar to each one until the damn baby is born. Nobody asks a brown/blond haired couple what the baby's hair will look like because either they will assume the average (brown dominant genes), or accept that you won't know until the kid is born (or later cause hair changes over the years). I'm s**cidal most days, a lot of days I completely dissociate and can't tell if anything is real, I live quite an isolated life. Last night I was still all smiles and complimenting trick and treater's outfits. If they saw me they would assume nothing is wrong. It's impractical to show how you really feel. People ask if you're OK, but they really don't want to hear anything else apart from 'yeah' because ultimately they have their own problems and not many people outside of your immediately family are really going to have the energy to take on your problems too. When people take their lives and their family wonder how someone who was always smiling could have ended their life, they smiled because they didn't want to disturb the peace or start arguments or be a burden. I got my Bachelor's degree in Communication (with the emphasis on interpersonal and public speaking rather than journalism or marketing) and as such took multiple Interpersonal Communication courses. Some were more focused on the more psychological aspect of communication while others were more focused on the actual process of communication. All of that is to say that I DID spend a bit of time on "body language". The biggest thing that still sticks with me all these years later is from some textbook where there was a line that said "Somebody crossing their arms could be a sign that they are feeling defensive or uncomfortable with the topic of conversation. Or it could be a sign that they are feeling cold temperature-wise and maybe are trying to keep themselves warm."

In Maryland, the official/minister must be certified or ordained, even if it is just from the Internet, but no witnesses are needed, just the rwo people being married and the official. I don't know about witnesses. I have been a wedding official for nearly 10 years, ordained on the internet, which even I think is ludicrous, which is how I know this.

Well, usually in the US, you have two weddings of a sort - you get the marriage certificate at city hall or wherever, and then you have the ceremony with all of the family at a church or wherever. You are married after both, but one is legal, and the other is the "real" start of the marriage in the eyes of everyone socially. You could say the certificate event is the "real" marriage since it's legally binding and all that, but social awareness and celebration are also very important. So, an American having a ceremony would naturally express that she was now married even if the legal one was not yet done (although usually Americans do this first).

I only watched one - from a youtuber named "observe". I had already watched other videos of his and felt he wasn't a hack. Then I checked to see if he covered this interview - and he did. He's American and was, I would say, 98% positive if not more about the interview. Of course the goofballs had much to comment about it. He did respond to that in a quick follow-up video about analyzing the rest of the interview (he was only able to post one part of it). I would advise people to check him out. He seems to have integrity and says himself that body language reading is 70% accurate AT BEST. And I'm mad all over again too - especially after watching part 1. Great job by munecat! 👍🏽

He is careful to not suggest any gesture or whatever means one thing for every person and he gives multiple possible reasons a person might do something (like flip their hair 😐) and as you said, he *often* reminds viewers that it's only 70% and that is definitely a large margin for error that people need to keep in mind when watching things like that.

I'm half Maori (New Zealand indigenous people) & half pakeha (New Zealand European descent - for me personally scottish and nordic heritage) I have 4 siblings & the lot of us are snow white with ginger hair & some Maori and some Euro features. I have several cousins who are technically 'more white' than me but have darker skin & hair colours, other cousins who in their own immediate families have vast differences in how they look. The most common questions I'm asked when I talk about my heritage or I'm seen with my parents, is 'why aren't you black?' 'what colour will your kids be?' 'are you worried your baby will be black? how would you convince your partner you didn't cheat' -- nvm the fact my partner isn't necessarily going to be white lol

I don't have any kids but I can't imagine a parent doing that. My parents had their issues but they would never ever do this to me... they protected us the best they could

RU-vid's algorithm seems to hate long videos and it also doesn't advertise left wing stuff nearly as much as right wing stuff and sometimes pretty overtly censors it, or enables censoring by letting bogus copy right claims go through on videos criticizing certain things.
