Hell yeah man, can’t wait for that 16 gauge minishell load too! Also I think that a chronograph is a great idea later on, you make a lot of unique loads that would be awesome to see chrony’d
Great informative video and precise explanation yet again. You may consider me to ask some stoopid/complete novice questions... Can you use any type of height of brass on the mini shell or straight 2 3/4 cartridges for that matter in any gauge, 8mm, 12mm and 16mm? That looks like a 16mm brass cap?!
I got me one of those Caldwell chronographs to test mostly my metallic rifle and pistol loads. It was in the $100 range and it kinda sucks... My condolences to your wallet.
Have you guys ever tried adding a little "powdered paint" with your buffer to make colored buffer?? Maybe make some green buffer to go with your pink/red shot balls? Just curious if that would work?
You could send a 3 ounce slug at 1200 if you wanted too. Supersonic though. I’m sure you could drop the powder charge down or use a faster powder with a light charge for subsonic though. I know loads exist for 3 3/8 ounce double ball at 950.
