Wow! I really enjoyed this guided meditation. I have a highly sensitized nervous system and it was exactly what I needed to start my day. It was a rough day yesterday and feeling the repercussion of it this morning. This was awesome! I’ll keep this one in my toolbox.

I am a 76 y/o man who has discovered how to meditate in the last year. This meditation is my go-to for learning the correct way to focus on my breath. While I may wander looking for various meditation practitioners each time I look around, I always come back to Caroline.

Such a great way to unwind & find that calm space after a busy day at work. Thanks to Caroline, I have increased both my capacity for and receptiveness to the meditation process. Thank you for making this (and for all of your videos). When I was a kid, I never had a soothing kind of mother figure, and that contributed to some anxiety and emotional regulation issues later on. This particular track helps me calm myself, and I feel like a happy kid after listening to it (and I have grandchildren)...

@@carolinemccready Well, HSPs are overstimulated and it’s harder for us to unwind. The nervous system can go a little crazy - sympathetic and parasympathetic out of kilter. We’re on high alert, senses are heightened. So I love your breathing exercises because the breath is the best way to regulate the nervous system and the absence of music removes a stimulus, which is also useful (plus I’m a professional musician - aaargh!) So anything that you feel you can gear to us would be fab, preferably with no music. Thanks again, you’re great!

Thank you Carolina, I'm so glad the meditations are helpful. I’ll certainly keep all of that in mind for a meditation for HSPs, it’s really great to know that no music is more helpful. Thanks for the feedback and I’ll upload something that focuses on really deeply relaxing, soothing the senses and activating the parasympathetic nervous system. I’m afraid other work makes it tricky to get it up super quick, but hopefully in the not too distant future 🤞🏻

When we hit stillness without warning, I thought I’d buffered and checked my screen lol kinda spoiled it. Maybe a little warning would help 🙏 but I do feel very chilled nonetheless ❤️

Hi Kathleen, different things definitely work better for different people. You might prefer some of the meditations with music, there are lots on the channel (all of the ones with silent pauses have a no music icon on the thumbnail, so just avoid those ones)
