Like I've mentioned before she's an Alpha widow and I know enough about her to know that she must still be hurting after all this time. No contact is brutal, its equal to drugs withdrawl. My best advice is try to completely remove the source, after around the 2 months mark you will feel way better because your brain will normalize and get used to being on your own again but before that you will seriously go through a lot of pain. Just hang in there, by the time you hit either the 3 months mark or summer, you will be healed, I promise :)

@@darylcampbell5952 I know that feeling so well... in case she did the break up you need to give her space and also get your mind off her, should be actually easier if you are dating someone new. The mistake I did was obsessing over facebook and whatsapp, just delete the app from your phone and her as a contact from whatsapp, trust me on this one. The thing is you see, you probably dont miss her as the person she is but rather what she represents to you, like the sex, warmth and comfort. Try to make peace with you and the feeling will vanish trust me you will be fine :)

You can't promise that, you don't know that. It is different for every person, depends on how much the person meant. It can very it isn't always 2-3 months. Not true, for women it is 5-6 years and guys 2-3 and for me it was over 20 years.

Getting dumped doesn't automatically mean that the dumper was in the wrong. Maybe you were too afraid to do it. In my opinion it is unfair to blame the dumper for ending a relationship that he thought didn't work out anymore. Respect that opinion.

@@kaiana3047 true indeed. But still there's not always discretion from your partner after mutliple times of telling them what in fact is wrong inside the relationship. Many times the dumper didn't do any wrong or disrespect his partner by ending a relationship. It could very well also just be better for the relationship between them. That can even be the case if one of the two or both are still in love with each other. But yeah I get the point you're trying to make.

Take comfort in the fact that he is a rebound, and likely will get dumped himself. Also, chances are he's fucking up royally, if he's like 97% of all men. Also, she will be comparing him to you every step of the way. The minute that guy really messes up, expect to hear from her. In the mean time, do not wait, but improve yourself. The new improved you might not want her back at all. Keep up the good fight!

Sandra Chatwin smart girl, my breakup is so unique its something that you only will see it in a soap opera, all my friends tell me to write a book about it, but I will say I’m the strongest person physically and mentally, I did not know I was capable of all the thinks I’m able to do, and yes you are right these videos a good source to keep your life in check, to be honest this break up was the best thing that ever happen to me, I wish my ex all the best to live a happy and healthy life.

Absolutely agree, tried many times to make plans, he always kept giving excuses, spending time with Dad, Mom not feeling well, daughter needs her car fixed. I didn't give it a second thought, next thing I knew, he moved another woman, (coworker) into his house. What? There is no end date. It's been 3 years, I'm finally coming out of being in shocked. We work in the same building, I finally asked why, he said we weren't on the same page, not even the same street. We dated for years, I said, let's get a house together, he said no, he wasn't moving. I excepted that. We still dated for years after, then 3 years ago is when things went south. He never said a word, just moved her in, she's now the cook, the maid and anything else He Wants her to be. I would never do this to anyone. If I was ending a relationship, I would be direct & honest. Did request a closer meeting, he agreed, 35 minutes of my life I'll never get back. He wanted me to move into his house that he shared with his ex wife, I just couldn't do it. I wanted our own place. Slowly putting my life back together.

Hows it going now. I am also in no contact. But for myself. She absolutely has no clue what she is going to miss with me. But that is fine. I was too kind and warmhearted also. Some women are simply more horrible than you think can be. I have thus no expectation from the one who broke up with me. There is a likelihood that she will contact me. But Im not certain anymore about wether to do anything about it. Because I stood for your relationship like a rock, where she was going from 4 months of heaven from both ends, to 4 weeks after that of nothing but confusion, blaming, evasion, not messaging back, a week no contact for her (which hurt me a lot not knowing anything because she left me lingering like that), not actively engaging in solving anything. Just no goodwill, no way to reason with her and so on. She made it frankly impossible for me. And that is something like 10 red flags when looking at having a really amazing relationship that she crossed. So basically that would never work. If she comes back, I will without question have to confront her with that and that I can never be in a relationship with someone who can be like that. Then it will depend if she is able to see that and fight for being very differently from there on. But as I said. I give that a small chance. So in the meantime I focus fully on myself. Reflected endlessly, checked 1001 video's, read books. To know my flaws and her flaws, what they mean, and so on. It also made me much more sure about that what I did was in no way something that cannot be solved (very few incidental minor differences between me and her, which she blew up), and her continuous horrible ways of 4 weeks straight of dealing with the relationship like that, spitting on everything else and reducing all the goodness we had to a single thing. That I cannot forget.

@@Ptolemy336VV Its day 91 of NC and she hasn't reached out. Its going to be nearly 8 months since the breakup. Your person sounds A LOT like mine. Now that I have had this time apart from her, i have realized that everything she did to me and how she ended things had also more to do with her own self than what I was doing to her in the relationship. I was good to her. I really was. If I was a piece of crap, I would not be hurting as much as I am right now because I would accept the things that happened as a "that's what you get for treating her the way you did, you piece of crap" but I didn't treat her badly. Yes, I wasn't perfect and I did do the annoying things that other guys do to their significant others and like every person, there were things I could improve on but I was not a horrible person to her and did not deserve to be broken up with the way I was. My story is similar to yours but I don't want to go into the details because it's just going to hurt again. I have been doing good for the past 3 days without crying but up u til last month, I cried every damn day. I can go a few days without crying but eventually i think too much and the feelings and thoughts just catch up and I am on the floor in tears. I also believe she will reach out to me. The last time we communicated was me telling her that I had all the rest of her things packed up and I could meet her somewhere to give them to her and so she could give me my belongings back and after this I would respect her wishes and leave her life for good (I still wanted her in my life because the problems we had were not horrendous issues and they were little things we could work on together to fix but when somebody dumps you, they want you to exit their life and I was not going to keep trying to be with somebody who didn't want me so I was respecting her wishes and wanted to exchange items to close the door for good). She agreed and said "I can't this weekend but lets meet up next weekend" and I said "Okay, please let me know when you know you will have time" and she said "Okay, I will. I hope you have a good tay today". I wished her a good day as well and then I never heard from her again. It's been over 3 months since that last text exchange and "next weekend" has never came. I think she doesn't even know what she wants. The items we have of each other are the last thing keeping us connected. After we give each other our things back, its over for good. She doesn't want to finish things and that is why she never contacted me. Either that, or she is done for good and is going to keep my things and doesn't want her things back. In either case, I am working on myself and am reading a lot of self- help books and am exercising and eating healthy. I weighed 300 when the breakup happened and I have lost 47 pounds. I am falling apart emotionally and I am still in a lot of pain but I feel great physically. Hopefully things work out for me in the end regardless if I get my ex back or not. I won't take her back unless she works on herself as well though. She had her own issues that caused the relationship to fall apart and she made me feel like I was the one to blame. Please don't let this destroy you like it has done to me. I am a wreck and i would not wish this on anybody. I am glad you are working on yourself. Keep it going and don't stop.

When I look back at the few weeks before the break up, I can clearly see his struggles, and I found myself sympathizing for him. The first three weeks or so were a constant rain of tears it was painful and still so but now so much so now. I also thought "wow I would never do to someone what was done to me" Rory is so right on he must feel so free and happy. Right now I think how I want him to be happy even if it doesn't include me. All I can do now is focus on myself. I am so appreciative of your videos, they have helped clear up the fog in my brain, so thank you!

It's been a week and a day since I got dumped. I just keep moving... don't stop. But I had a fever and was bedridden for the last few days and that gave me time to think. And it hurt so much. He reached out three days ago but I replied as much as what was needed. I miss him too but I will not let him walk all over me... not anymore, especially after he was the one who broke things off. i needed this Thanks my man Rory, my ex actually contacted me a little over a month ago, of course during no contact I focused on the gym, work, school, some hobbies I neglected ( reading books, comics, and gaming ) .When I do interact with her I keep it short be playful and positive. I did ask her out but she doesn't give concrete answers just a I'll let you know I do sense some hesitation tho, but I just keep working on myself, hell she didn't do any indirect approach, she directly messaged me ( by unblocking me lol randomly too ) and asked me how I was doing. If she wants to spend time with me she'll let me know until than, I'll continue doing me. P.S; you are the MAN Rory gives great advice, a dog lover and Zelda fan ;)

This only applies in certain relationships.. Some dumpers acknowledge that they’re hurting you and they are okay with it. They can live with it, they move on and start seeing new people. They don’t ever contact you again, and that’s that. This whole “rebound/contact you again, emotional regression” is not always the case. Some people simply never loved you and you were just the clown lol

I have found that it takes about half the amount of time that you were together to get over it! That sucks but I was in a relationship for a little over 2 years and have been apart with no contact for 11 months. I would never go back now but a few months ago I probably would have. You have a great radio voice. I like listening to you. Perhaps you might go a bit longer on some of the subjects you cover. Other than that, I love the stuff you talk about. I put my head phones in and sometimes I fall asleep but I play them over and over again to pickup on ever detail. I always have my dictionary handy. P. S. I minored in Psych. Some video ideas I'd love to hear about: - What if the break up was mutual? - emotional unavailability/distance - what if the relationship was hurt by outside factors, long distance, parents not approving, friends making pressure and so on?

Indeed! He was cold when I reached out to him several days after break up. I texted him after the call, was really emotional. No response as well. But after that one time, I tell myself I will never ever talk to him anymore unless he is the one who reach out!

Keeping this short. Post 2 mo breakup. 8 yr relationship & live together. Did 3 weeks NC. Was a complacent male/dumpee. Back sleeping in same bed. Hot/cold behavior. Had great sex 5 of last 7 days! Made self 1st priority, quit drinking, lost 40 lbs, and working 3 jobs. Now, dealing w/ breadcrumbing, other men in her life chasing her, & even attacking me on FB cuz they know she is free now... Congrats on your weight loss. People who mock you on FB over this woman are not your friends..block them. You want a woman who wants you. Guys chasing her boosts her ego. Focus on yourself. When you think of her cut the cord. Change your thoughts. When I thought of my guy I would go ride my bike. It helped.

What if she reaches out during no contact and asks to meet up? Maybe on day #10? Should you agree to meet up, and if so, how do you treat the meetup? No "friends", but do you treat it as a first date? Did she just skip a bunch of steps? (I'm not saying my ex did this, but she is very different and I want to be prepared to respond strategically in case she does).

I know my ex for 5 years and we lived together for 3 years as I move to her country we lived each others she even said she can't imagine her self with other guy but all was lie and feeling at that moment well when I move to her country we get house in same street where her brothers live but surprise and shocked that her family all drug dealers growing weeds in deferent houses and her family wants me to be part of the busines I refuse and they start putting drugs in our house as they all have keys and I fill out with them all and I asked my wife let's move from here and get other house she said don't worry they say they will never come to our house and they will leave us alone I was OK then but after a month she she messaged me while I was at work she said my brothers said we have to move from here I said OK I save money it took me a month to offored deposit and rent they we find house I was happy and she was just pretenting she's happy the. In that first month in the new house she start bringing her coworker to have affair in my bed and I didn't know but I realised something going on as she didn't fix her cloths and everything still in bags I was stupid didn't know was game that she plan with her family then one day I was tired didn't feel going work as I do night shift she was no you have to go to work I said yeah I should go I was just tired but we need the money then I see that she was texting and when ever I'm next to her she hide phone and I can hear text but she don't answer unles I pretend going ckitchen or something then she can replay back then I was about to go to work I left my laptop recording voice I don't want yo say what I heard when u play the audio I wasent surprised because I know it's game then i went to bed next to her she wake up she look like divel in her eyes I said who was here last night she said wtf u don't trust me there was no one what are you talking about I said OK I play the audio you know what she did she said we breakup and move now and she called her brothers and she pack my suatcase and she said go now before my brothers arrive well I know if her brothers come at that time I would of missed up with them all so I left where I have no where to go all doors closed in my way I stayed at friend for 2 days till I found accommodation now it's almost 2 months she blocked me from everywhere and after few weeks she email me with angr and she said home back to your country if you report my family to the police you get in trubel I don't know what trubel she talk about and now my visa will end in 3 months and she don't want to cancel it now because if she do she will think I will put all of them in deep shit, it really hurts how I loved this girl we had so much together memories holidays laughs and we both in real love as she always pot on fb I'm in love with my husband she was very proud of me and one day she become monster I don't think I will ever get her back as she hates me for no reason well reason is because I didn't take the her familes offer its like be like us or u won't have ur wife. Now I have some friends are her friends in fb telling me she have someone ales and she seems happy and posting things about me like I was bad guy selfish and he don't deserve me, trust me guys when you dumped everyone will leave you even close friends you will find yourself alone and you even lose your mind of thinking what hell happened to me but watching thoes videos wake me up I'm more better then her and I deserve the best I'm very proud of my self I didn't become drug dealers I wanted sempl life and work for living but she want someone who can take the offer and make her happy that way I'm sorry for long comment but really no one to feel you and I'm sure here some people will feel the pain. This is the 3rd time her and I broke up. It's almost a year now and I still miss her. I've taken time to myself, thinking I could erase the hurt of her leaving but that hasn't changed anything within. There has been some contact. I've invited her to meet up for drinks a few times and her response was, "I still don't think it's a good idea" so I stopped asking. I've been dating other people for a several months now and I still feel hollow/ numb. Emotionally void of giving what these other people are desiring. Outside of having sex, I'm tapped out. My heart is not there. I've given so much of myself to my ex, that I have nothing else to give to someone new. I don't know what to do or how else to feel. I love my ex and really want her back. It's a daily struggle to keep from reaching out to her. Even though I know it won't help situations if I do. I'm lost for real!!!!

I guess I'm in the 'social media' phase. She is one of the first people watching my instagram stories, even though I haven't watched hers. Yeah, I know, no mindreading. But at least she seems quite interested in what I'm doing. Right now I'm at a point, where I dont really care if she comes back. Would they go through the same process if they dumped twice? He broke up with me for the same reason during the 2nd break (logistics in being in the same city). When he begged to come back after the first break, he promised that the logistics is not an issue anymore, that he'll make it work. But alas, same reason when he broke it off again. I walked away when he broke up the 2nd time around (I said, if you don't want to be with me, I don't want to be with you) and NC since then. Don't want him back, but my ego is screaming: "I hope he regrets it SO HARD."

I am the one who ended things and I blocked him. All of what you said is true for me. I was relieved, through some guilt, indecisiveness, but ultimately, I know it was for the best. I am happy again. I was actually surprised he respected the block and he went into no contact. It has been two months. I don't plan to ever reach out to him, just want to move on now that the hard part is over. With him it is just drama, drama, drama. It is so draining. Unless he truly changes, there is no way in hell I'd trade my current level of happiness for that crap. I am just doing me now. I don't have a replacement lined up and no one new in sight. But lonely looks pretty damn good compared to his guaranteed drama.

LRF49 I wouldn’t. My ex dumped me six weeks ago. Next day after dumping me, I ignored him, second day after, emailed me, I IGNORED HIM again. Four days later I emailed him, seemed like if he was waiting for my response to his email cause it was marked read two minutes after I sent it, not common with him. Anyway, I told him sorry, that I wasn’t gonna be in the friend zone to get lost 😂. He responded MESSAGE RECEIVED 😂. Never again Gerard from him and never again he will hear from me either.
