Kris started her yoga journey in 2003 but found her real passion for yoga while running and training for half marathons. She learned to use yoga to not only stretch properly and build endurance but to focus her mind and control her breathing. Yoga Alliance certified, Kris received her 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification from Colleen Brady at Younique Yoga and her received her GroovyKids™ Kids Yoga certification from Greville Henwood. Additionally, Kris is certified in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Sculpt and has concentrated work in Yoga for Athletes with Sage Rountree. In 2020, Kris received her 300 hour certification.
Kris is passionate about sharing her powerful vinyasa style yoga with practitioners of all ages and skill levels with the hope that everyone can connect to yoga in the way that is right for them. She strives to keep her classes creative, lighthearted, and challenging, hoping to allow her students to find freedom in their ever-changing bodies and minds.
