I have lost 25 lbs so far in 7 months & I eat the frozen dessert every day. I make mine with cold cooked sweet potato cocoa powder water a splash of pure vanilla & firm silken tofu ..................yum
***Leave the tops off of the containers when freezing for a few hours and then place the lids on*** This will stop the tops from getting the dome like bubble on the top. No need for scraping the top anymore 😀
@@lindagellatly8511 Not really, I just use it as a base and toss in whatever floats my boat. LOL. The last one I made had black beans, bananas, cocoa powder, dates, almonds and almond milk and a few drops of almond extract added to the oats..( which I froze in an ice cube tray first.) You can just add some to any of the above or any dairy free recipes for added nutrients and fiber. Just have fun experimenting!
I don’t have the Ninja cream maker, so I cooked my sweet corn, then put it in cold water and froze it. In my Vitamix, I added two frozen bananas, two medjool dates, a tablespoon of white miso, a cup of frozen sweet corn and a little bit of unsweetened soy milk. Blend until you get ice cream. Delicious! Thank you Ami for the idea of sweet corn ice cream!!!
I love ginger/pear icecream for the Ninja Creamer with a pear and a lot of ginger, 1/4 cup of oats, 3 dates and 1 cup plantmilk and apple/cinnamon icecream with an apple, cinnamon, 3 dates, 1/4 cup of oats and 1 cup plantmilk.
HOT TIP!! Use a hand held potato peeler to level the top of your frozen tubs, no more stabbing with a knife to get flat. 😉 (the squatty peeler type) Thank you for sharing your amazing self and amazing food creations. 👍🏼
Great idea!! Doubled the Sweet Corn and the Tiramisu recipes - a quick 10minutes and now there are 4 ninja tubs in my freezer - Sunday Roast (Vegan! stuffed squash and root veg) will have a surprise dessert treat!
You could probably blend sweet potato with root beer OR garbanzo with root beer, OR bean and root beer I just bought ice cream machine today and I am super excited to make ice cream tomorow. Enjoy root beer ice cream. No root beer for me.
Love watching you make these. I need to get a Creami. What model is yours? Some other flavor ideas: carrot cake, orange vanilla, key lime, tahini chocolate chip.
Could you please try replicating my 3 favorites: Pumpkin; Vanilla Choc Chip; Blueberry Cheesecake. (You already did a caramel, which is my other favorite). TY 🍧🍦🙀
Hello! I just tried cooking the plantains in the microwave 😁. I put them in the food processor with some carob powder, PB2 and some oats! It takes soooo good! I rolled them into balls and coated them with Hemp seeds. They taste amazing! Thanks to you and your amazing inventions 😁🙌👊. Also I grew up in Brazil and corn is actually a legit ice cream flavor! I grew up eating it 😋🌽. You can make it without the miso and when you have it ready to eat just sprinkle a tiny bit of cinnamon on top 😉. Also avocado ice cream is really tasty if you'd like to try. In Brazil we eat avocados with sugar sprinkled on top and in smoothies, we don't use it for savory dishes ( I personally love guacamole and avocados in salads but it's not common).
Your ideas are brilliant and easy enough to want to recreate. I’m roasting some plantain in my oven🤞(don’t have microwave) to make your delicious desserts. I love raspberry and almond flavour, salted pecan. Thanks for your hard work.
I LOVED this video!! Your enthusiasm was pure joy 😊........ I've wanted to get the Ninja Creami for so long, it looks like fun, and it's easy to create with. I always loved an ice cream called burgundy cherry..... I'm guessing it could be made with those bags of frozen cherries.....plus, perhaps, a mix in of dark chocolate chips?? Then the classic Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey was also a favorite. Do you think oat milk works better because of its richness? or would soy milk make it too thin ? Now you've got my mind racing at 5a.m. to create these "nice creams" with the Creami machine!!! 😂 A girl could really go crazy with this thing!! LMAO....... I've GOT to save up for this thing ! 😊 BTW, love the new refrigerator, it's epic!! Another thing I've been thinking about too lol. I missed the video somewhere, but was just curious about your hair colour change.....it looks great, I loved it blonde too....my friends used to call me "the flavour of the month" because I was always trying different hair colours 😅 Thanks again for the great video 🙏💕
My 20 yr. old son asked for broccoli ice cream for his 5th birthday. So that's my request for you. I was in the habit of doing green smoothies so I did a variation and made him some. It turned out pretty good. (The following year he wanted Artichoke Cake. I drew the line and served artichokes with his birthday dinner.) I think all three of your ice creams sounded delicious!
Hi Ami, I never ever would have thought to make ice cream out of sweet corn, brilliant! I’m definitely going to try it. I made lavender ice cream today with some culinary lavender and food colours to make purple, I got it from a lavender farm here in Bundaberg Australia 🇦🇺
@@TheMiriam333 Hi, you will need a Ninja Creami machine for my recipe. Heat up half a cup of milk (microwave or stove) don’t let it boil, add two teaspoons of culinary lavender and let it leave steep (soak) for 5-10 minutes then strain it, and add it to a food processor with two bananas. Process until smooth then pour into Ninja Creami tub then freeze for 24hrs and then it’s ready to process in Ninja Creami using the Lite Ice cream setting.
The sweet corn caramel ice cream is delicious!!! Even my picky 17 year old liked it. Can't wait to try the others. I LOVE corn but never would've thought of that. Thanks for the inspiration!
May I ask why you chose the milky plant machine over maybe an almond cow/ salter or similar ones with strainer? I must admit I'm a bit shocked at the prices of these plant milk makers.
I do the sweet potato nice cream all the time. It’s my go to. I like the JSP and Stokes for vanilla flavor. I use the Garnet or Jewel for sweet potato pie or carob flavors. I have sweet potatoes in the fridge as we speak. I’ll be making the sweet potato pie flavor tomorrow. My fave. 😋
Plus points to the two videos I’ve watched so far… Great recipes great energy. Negative points… The eating noises😩 and the most appalling word in the English entire language, ‘journey’🤦♂️!!!!!
Love your energy! Love your enthusiasm! Thank you for sharing your crazy, yummy, healthy creations!! I'm wondering if there is a way to make Cinnamon Red Hot ice cream.... but not by using cinnamon red hot candies. ... Can you create a healthy version for us??
I love you. Thank you very much. I thought it would be hard to make vegan ice cream that taste good AND is healthy. (I’m tired of nice cream and smoothie bowls) thanks love.
I just got my Ninja Creami, I am so excited to try some of your healthy plant based recipes. You are so fun to watch. I love sweet potatoes! 5:31 Keep up with the great ideas.
I am going to try the sweet corn. Sound interesting. I make the chocolate coffee one regularly, but call it mocha. By the way, if you leave the lid off while freezing, you do not get the hill in the middle, in my experience. I am not a fan of sweet potao but have some butternut pumpkins left from my last harvest, so I shall try that.
Hi, I made the chocolate ice cream but it’s icy..iv spun it twice but still the same…I bought my ninja last year but probably only used it 4 times as whatever I make turns out icy…any ideas ???
Love this! Definitely going to try the sweet corn. I already do one with sweet potato that I love. I’m not a big chocolate fan so I’m excited to try a new one with corn!
I bought Ice Cream machine today, have coca and bean ice cream planned for tomorrow. I am freezing my pot for the machine😊😊😊 Omg coffe is a great idea🎉🎉🎉 I am going to add coffe tomorrow if I remember😅🎉😊
OMG just had to spin a tub to have later so that I can get the sweetcorn one straight in the freezer…. Sounds so much like a mad combo just have to give it a try…. Oooooooh can’t wait till tomorrow now ❤️
I cannot wait to try all three, but especially the corn and sweet potato ones. These are by far the coolest Creami ideas I've come across, thank you for sharing!
Whenever I'm going to make a lot of things in the blender I start out with the lightest tasting thing and then I don't rinse my blender just scrape it out with a rubber scraper as best I can and go on to the next recipe and the next and the next. I find that the little bit that is in there, doesn't affect the flavor of the next one. You would be saving yourself time and ingredients
Where can I get the recipe quantities? I’m not on instagram, so are they posted on RU-vid anywhere or do you have somewhere else you post your recipes besides instagram?? I’m new to your channel broccoli mum, so I’m not sure where to look for your recipes. Thanks in advance.
I don't have an ice cream maker and not a banana fan, so beans and sweet potatoes have often been my base. Black beans and anything chocolate are wonderful together, and chickpeas or any beans work great with anything milder. I also accidentally discovered oatmeal cooked in milk then cooled makes a great blank canvas for vegan ice creams. My current favorite is almond joy... with added almonds, coconut, and mini chocolate chips!
