In this video we'll replace the IPR and I'll demonstrate how to change the IPR valve without the special socket. This 6.0 Powerstroke shut off while driving down the road randomly and has not started since. After running some diagnostic tests with the Scanguage 2 it was discovered that while cranking the truck (before batteries got to weak) it would then go straight to 84.7 - 84.8% and would also not build ICP. This truck already has all the known issues fixed. * Update on the truck, it has been repaired however the issue was not an IPR direct issue. It was discovered that the top of one of the injectors had broken after further diagnostics *

I had it replaced and the Machanic broke the clip plug off and it runs terrible besides really hard start I may have to fix it myself he charged me 1200 plus to mess my truck up

That's crazy and then to have the truck still not run right! If you you know that's the issue for sure it's definitely worth saving the money and just doing it yourself. Its not a difficult process at all.

No it still wouldn't start after batteries charged overnight/today, something else is still preventing it from starting

Ipr reading is supposed to be 14% KOEO if it constantly commands 85% while cranking that means its demanding more oil so u prob have a leak

Yeah messed up that part of the video didn't catch it until after I posted it. The truck went to 85% each time it was checked during cranking before the batteries got weak.

This particular issue ended up being an injector that had broken across the top of the injector where to oil rail meets the injector. After that was replaced the truck started up and it has run without issue since according to the owner.
