This video contains the final basic stepping pattern for balance and rooting training that I teach before moving into Taiji posture practices such as repetitive line drills and Taijiquan forms (Postures, here, meaning patterns of movement that involve the entire body and are the foundation of Taijiquan forms and martial techniques). After learning the exercises in this video series really well, and after developing your root and balance with these exercises, you can begin to work on learning Taijiquan postures. Later on I will post videos with partner rooting exercises.
