I've wanted Nigerian Dwarf Goats since we moved here, and now that they are finally here I feel like a real homesteader. We were able to create a sweet home for them to be locked up and protected at night. We call it the Goat Lodge, and it's complete with the tiniest antler you ever did see :) Oh, and did I mention, they're both pregnant! Cannot wait to have little baby goats hopping around out here!
We also picked up the mystery animal and she's so fun and fitting in nicely.

That goat shelter looks fantastic! I really like the door too. The antler on top is the cherry on top! Nice wire hay bin. Good thing you used a lot of butter because fresh farm eggs stick! They are like our eggs, more orangs than store bought! Oh boy, Brooklyn. Cute baby goat! Fay and Mable! So this is how you got your goats. I like the "Sow the Land" beanie. So you've started the solar shed. I watched all those videos but I didn't see this one. Thanks for this Longneckers.

You will love the goats milk and it is healthier for you. Both dogs were wagging their tails. I don’t see a problem their. I would call the white goat Woolley. She looks a lot like a sheep. The dog I would call Pacer. You will see. He has a lot of Energy. Good luck you all. Later

Test the eggs in a glass of water, about 4 oz. If it sets on the bottom it's good, if it stands up it's starting to get old to get old, if it rises to the top.. run like hell.

I like Mable. It sounds good with Fay. Also the best way to get the dogs to bond is just taking them for lots of walks together. On leash at first. They will both get focused more on the walk then eachother and be walking together like a pack does and learn that eachother aren’t a threat. Usually by the end of a long walk they will be getting more comfortable with eachother, plus it will tire them out also!

I like the Mabel! Enjoyed your video as always! I believe the animals will be fine. I would be caeeful about dogs and chickens for sure, but they will learn. That is a really cool goat lodge!

Mabel rolls off the tongue easier, I'd go with Mabel. I'm sure y'all have been researching goats, but I'd like to give you another resource, if you haven't run across them yet, and that is "Blue Cactus Dairy Goats". They are in the Tuscon area. Really cool family, and Crystal is extremely knowledgeable (she is crazy good at handling issues that can happen during kidding, such as breach babies), and she does most of the vet work (vaccinations, meds and such) herself. They have a YT channel as well. Congratulations on the new babies! ❤️🌵☀️⛈️🌈☮️🐎🐐

Brooklyn ended up being overly aggressive with the kids and generally just caused chaos in the animal paddock. We didn't have the time to train her in the middle of all the building projects we were doing so she was re-homed with another family and she's doing great :) FYI feel free to comment anytime ❤️

We did re-home her in the middle of the 30 day project, and will eventually do a video explaining why. No time right now though😂. Definitely for the best, she was creating an enormous amount of drama and mental overhead in the paddock area besides the agressiveness towards the kids.

I think they're in Nevada which may be to far away but maybe not. Anyway, I posted a comment about Bryson's well drilling service and got love, for what that's worth.

To prepare the dogs to meet walk them on leash together, Mom holding one leash, Dad holding the other. Walk them around the property, every day, together. This will help them see each other as members of the same pack. Keeping them apart, at leash- length, nose to nose is not good. The more you keep/ pull them apart the more they will not bond and be rivals or be confused. Don’t project fear that they’re going to hurt each other. Be calm and take them on their walk. They’ll be fine. Introducing dogs to other species? I know nothing about that. Good luck.
