I've sewn with fur a few times before and it's pretty challenging! You definitely need a thimble and a VERY sharp needle and also very strong thread. It's easier to do by hand in my opinion because you have more control

@@meghansandor I definitely agree! Hey, I would like to ask your opinion, now that we're on the same page. If my stitches are close together and keeping things secure, is that good enough? When I look at the finished results, it looks wonderful and everything feels smooth. But my concern is that if a customer looks at the seams and they see what looks like a jumbled mess that does the job... My concern is that my quality is simply repair work. Well, even though I'm adding fur to a coat that never had any. Perhaps you've been there before? Thank you for your time. ☺️

@@xjapan3 I'm not a professional by ANY stretch, but in my limited experience with sewing fur, it's almost impossible to get neat, tiny stitches even with the world's smallest 10 sharp needle. The hides are simply too thick for the kinds of almost-invisible hand stitching that's possible with lighter fabrics like voile or silk. If it were my customer, I would just let them know that!
