Great reflections on gratitude and appreciating what we have. Also nice to hear you talk about pushing yourself through hardships. One of my favourite quotes is 'life begins outside of your comfort zone'. Sometimes pushing through the challenges of life is where we find the greatest rewards.

Thank you for sharing all this Kate. That would have been so hard for you leading up to watching this episode. I was proud of you that you go so far... there can only be one winner after all, and you seem to have taken a lot from the experience, so you're winning in another way. I did want to ask why you (and others) didn't make more furniture given the lack of flat surfaces. Mike's chair looked pretty comfy, lol.

My wife Kate and I finally had time to sit together and watch the Alone reunion episode and we loved it. Listening to you on this recap has given this old boy much to think about. Ammunition in my own struggles. You already had a big following and a lot of support through your RU-vid channel with your hiking and camping etc.. but I think your support network and certainly your fan base must be huge now because of the #aloneaustralia series. Loving these recaps, keep up the good work.
