The best pizza I ever had...period. I was introduced to De Lorenzos almost 25 years ago when they were on Hudson Street in Trenton, and this pie is the best! There's a reason why there's always a line to get in when they open.
A great way to make a pizza using less of the most expensive item for the pizzeria, cheese...whether it is real cheese or the usual analogue cheese that most commercial pizzerias now use.
This almost looks like the classic NJ tomato/Grandmas tomato pie. They have great tomato pie at Columbus flea market in Columbus, NJ. The best pizza sauce ive ever had.
I'm curious, what is that meat topping on the pizza, is it some kind of sausauge or is it just minced meat? Also, what is that liquid you spill over the topping, is it oil or some kind of special seasoning?
