As an ENFP, ENTPs are the most interesting type when it comes to talking or chatting around with. From casual topic, to deep or brainstorming thingy lol😂
Entps are my favorite, they're quick to pick up and understand what the person they're talking likes and know how to make them comfortable, they're very good at reading others and the atmosphere in general, they can enter a room and spot the ones enjoying the conversation and the ones who are dying to go home
@@uddiyan.k thanks, I just happen to know a couple entps two are my friends and one is my sister, they're definitely important to remind me that there's someone else who can understand me(I'm an infj so you can imagine how hard it would be for me to find someone who can get me) anyway yall are cool and I care about you
@@manager-nim2623 oooh that last line makes me weird. Anyway yeah we do understand you guys. But people barely understand us. And you guys get offended so easily. I don't know why😂
@@uddiyan.k I used to get offended easily by people until I realized no one gives a shit so I used my brain a lot more and life is better, the entps in my life tho are amazing and I don't get offended by what they say because I know them well enough to know they're either kidding or trying to lift my mood a bit and honestly they're the least offensive(to me) compared to other types. Soo yeah
@@manager-nim2623 Yeah maybe the INFJ friend I had was the older version of you.😂 And I used to say to her that no one gives a fuck too. And she used to get offended too
Entp's always manage to make me smile. There's always some sort of truth to the outrageous things they say. "Method to their madness". I think is the term.
Their capacity to solve problems in different ways and think out of the box is utterly incredible. Arguably one of the most creative thinkers. 'Do the impossible' must be their motto. I respect the ones with ethics.
My sister is dumb smart too. Consistently holds a 4.0 GPA yet is such a blonde in real world topics. She didn’t know that cars had to be taken for oil changes or maintained in general 😂😂😂
I absolutely love ENTPs . I am an INTJ and let me tell you ENTPs are my all time best friends. I'll do anything for them. They don't have to know that of course😂😏
lol, i think what is missed is our bluntness is extremely controlled, we really appreciate harmony in all things, and even though we might step on toes its never intentional and you are bound to get the most overblown but sincere apology you ever heard in your life.
ENTPs can be funny. I like how ENFPs are more bluntly honest though rather than more about social harmony, but Ne-hero does seem to really convey humorous creativity for both types. Sometimes I can get a bit goofy when really stressed, but not as good as that. Very certain I have Fe-blindspot too, rather than Fi-blindspot.
Ne hero is just hilarious, I love that. I've to admit that as a Fi dom I can sometimes have problems with entp's because of their fi blidspot, but they're just so funny. My parent Ne just feels liberated with them xD
Sarah R. Baucells I think that can likewise be a bit of a struggle for us - for example, if I tell a joke and someone with high Fi is like “that joke goes against my values” or whatever, for us it’s like “but...why does that mean it’s not funny? Can’t you still laugh at it?” Especially because our jokes go through the Fe filter to decide if our audience will like it or not. To us, making fun of something doesn’t mean we hate it or want to oppress the subject of the joke. However, it’s important for ENTPs to keep in mind that some people may see it as an attack on their values, or as a value judgement on our part.
Want a quick intp analysis? Super smart, super lazy, and super careless. I like intps but y'all gotta learn when to stop talking and pay attention to what's going on around you (no offense).
This guy is making the same point as I always do. We go on and on about one thing super powers, but we kind of already have some. Can fish walk, no! To them, we have a superpower of walking. So, if someone were to be able to breathe underwater, that would seem astounding but to a fish it's just regular.
this is *exactly* how my convos go, it’s weird to seem it in other people with an explanation added to them. When my fellow ENTP friend and I talk, it’s even more like this lmao. Fish are underrated, they’re pretty interesting, superior to the lawd.
I'm an intj, but my favorite personality is the entp. They can come up with a great joke at any moment without any effort, and they are the best at seeing different sides of things. Unfortunately, they lack structure and discipline so they never finish anything. They also tend to be lonely and sad individuals despite their humor. I like to think of them as the sad clowns, making everyone laugh to hide their inner sorrow.
I generally dont get along with entps (the ones I know must be unhealthy- always arguing and being fake assertive but lowkey sad underneath..) , but this first guy's example is genuinely hilarious and personable. :)
A small point about the events at 2:30-I don't think that it's necessarily that John Cleese "values insensitive feedback" per se, I think that he feels somewhat comforted by it. There's a story that Frank Sinatra once hosted a party at his home, and one of the guests, a young woman, accidentally broke an expensive vase, one of a pair. His daughter began to say "oh no that was my mother's favorite-" but was quieted before she could finish by a look from her father. Sinatra then slowly and deliberately walked over to the second vase, and broke it by tipping it over with his finger. He then gave the woman who broke the vase a hug, and told her "that's okay kid". In the same way that the woman felt embarrassed at breaking the vase, John Cleese felt embarrassed at possibly making an insulting comment, which he only realized afterwords was insulting. Then Letterman, in his capacity as host of the show, insulted the whole audience-he "broke the other vase" for Cleese, and made him feel that he didn't cross any line, because the host, the one who decides more than anyone else where the line is, crossed it farther than he did. Really interesting video by the way, I think you'd be a really cool person to talk to.
What I gathered on my personality type from this video: Person: “Y’know most people would say that’s (insert controversial thing here)” ENTP: “OH REALLY NOW??????”
I am an INTP and ENTPs are my favorite people. I think they are the funniest people on Earth. My best friend is an ENTP and I am always left in stitches whenever I get to meet him.
@@uddiyan.k Haha! Don't worry we do value your weirdness because we constantly keep fucking up ourselves too. To be honest,..it's way better to be odd and flawed with your actions because you actually want to find out something new and question the nature of things instead of conforming to a boring routine like majority of the people.
As an ENFP, I really do have the best conversations with ENTPs. I enjoy their sense of humour. This vid is spot on minus the interviewer saying "fuck them" like ooook what did I ever do you tho lol?? smh
I was so focused on listening to them I forgot that this was a video about analysing the ENTP. I had to stop and wonder how I managed to get on this video before I looked at the title.
Heather Bryant only because it is rarer and less predictable. We don't take self criticism or even self loathing too seriously - it's a hoot if anyone will join in on an outrageous tirade against us scoundrels. As long as it doesnt get repetitive. Aaargh.
I'm so confused about my type now. Am I an INTJ or an ENTP? It's as if all of what I am learning about MBTI is making me somehow more deluded! I've never met an INTJ in my entire life, and if I did, I doubt I'd know it because of how well they fly under my radar. Additionally, there is wishful thinking that every person I meet is an INTJ. ENTPs are a different story - they're usually the type I guess right away within seconds of seeing them, but I second guess myself because nobody acts that ridiculous on the regular except myself, but even that is during the upswing of a mood disorder. Now, the kicker. I have a... narcissistic infatuation with characters and people of the ENTP personality type. When I see an ENTP male in particular interacting in the wild... I see his wit, his charm, his intelligence, his outfit, his tastes, his facial features, his life, and I want it all for myself. Jealousy ensues when I reflect on myself and see none of it. Still, I feel this prophetic duty to emulate him and worship him if I am to become half the man he is. But wait... to beholden myself to another? This is heresy! No other gods come before ME! Add jealousy to this and one of two things happen - 1) I secretly drag his name through the mud, sadistically and creatively attacking his character and looks, or 2) I become dysphoric about my physical manifestation on this planet and self-soothe by channeling his aspects. Could it be... penis envy?
John Cleese is my UK brother from another mother, maybe as smart as me and almost as funny. and yes I can follow everything he says like Im saying it, and everyone thinks we are a pita.
