Excellent recipe Jeff. I like the way you cut your onions and your apples! Also like when you're cooking the onions you put butter in there for some additional flavour. I'm a fan of that style. Pops has always showed me the value of that liquid gold you speak of. It really is magical to make sure you keep it around! Whenever you do your wine breakdowns I wonder if wine companies reach out to you and just send you their wine to describe? I know I would for sure! So professional! The apple chicken combo looks so delicious and to sip the wine with it is perfect! :)

I love love apple cider! One of the things I look forward to in the fall. This looked delicious...the addition of the apples was brilliant. Ive only ever added apples to pork before. Hi, Jeff! Wow, that apple cider chicken looks amazing! I agree that butter would be great in this. I love Fuji apples. I don't really care for Granny Smith, either...glad someone else agrees with me. Thanks for the tip about turning down the heat when adding the chicken back in so that the meat is not tough. I would not have thought about adding nutmeg, but I am sure it would add a lot to the dish. I make something similar to this with beef shanks, and it is great, so I am sure this is as well. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah bro... Butter in the fond w the shallots and the apples... I've never made chicken w apple cider before. Sounds like a great combo. Love the herbs. I might have to give this a go sometime. I imagine thigs and low & slow then brown the end. This looks killer man. Great Job!

Jeff I am actually over for round two. My comm ents were not working well yesterday ughhh. Anywho I certainly don’t mind watching you cook this again. I need to start taking picture for Instagram because we are after cooking a few of your dishes and they are always so so so good. Casey has been visiting his partner in NY for last few months and we made some of your stuff together over zoom. I didn’t expect the Apple. Interesting. Kind of a twist in breast recipes u hve had which I made two of them already in fact. Making this would b comfortable coz I used Dijon already. On the list now Jeff!
