What an absolute pleasure to see a personable judge on the bench. This is a judge that keeps business serious, but lightens up the mood when she can. Believe it or not, to a jury, that really helps them get through a trial. (I could do without the possum stories though, 😄😂🤣)
@@sadiehill6792 Sadie, MOST have NOT left out that part. May just be a quirk of this judge. Although I can tell you, I'm waiting for the bombshell day that all changes and it's completely banned for the reason of: "we must consider the rights of those who don't believe in God". I'm just waiting for it. Our world is in sad chaos. I know where I'm going when all is said and done. I feel sorry for those who simply don't know God.
It's not victim blaming to say, if Taylor wasn't greedy and hiding money from her husband, this never would've happened. This wasn't just a case of a woman, trusting her friend to put money into her savings, this was a woman that was effectively stealing money and trusted a killer to hold onto the money.
kristina marie I agree better than a lot of those Scrooge face judges I found it interesting her stories even in another part of the same trial she even got somebody to go back and get the jury a blanket cuz they were cold LOL just a little things like that awesome judge

Only Southern folk do that? lol. Dude, I don't think that's strictly a Southern thing but I do concur, this is a great tactic to break the tension in the room. I've also found that farting really really loud in a dead silent courtroom has the same effect. Always a great icebreaker!!

It's evil to kill anyone but it's even more disgusting when it's the parent of a young child. My heart breaks for Drake. I'm sure his step-mother is wonderful but it's just not the same when your mom has been murdered. I hope Ashley is having a really hard time in prison. Btw, it doesn't matter how much training one has in physical combat when someone you trust sneaks up behind you and shoots you in the back of the head like a coward!

No, by then the money was already gone. She stole and spent first on her little sugar baby boyfriend that she was having an affair with and then panicked when tayler started to blow her up so she popped up on her in person a couple days later and led tayler away to her death by leading her to believe they were going straight to the bank. She immediately blew thru the money as soon as it was deposited, like it was hers.
I was a little baffled by the defence's questioning of the ex-husband... having told him that it was a Saturday on the states evidence number two, the attorney seemed to give up... did he think that the ex was going to be negative towards his ex-wife and then realise that maybe he didn't make a good defence witness. The defence guy reminds me of the other defence attorney in My Cousin Vinny
Taylor was going through some difficult life struggles and also made some bad choices along the way. Ashley preyed on her friends weakness and took advantage of Taylor’s struggles to better her own life. What a Judas Ashley is! This is why many women can’t have healthy relationships with other women, we can’t trust your intentions.
That is so true, I have 0 real friends because I don’t trust anyone! You can’t. I am a very nice person and a lot of times I am too nice and I have had supposed friends take advantage of that.
There's no evidence that Taylor was trying to better her life. She abandoned her only child and was not doing anything to change that. She STILL hadn't paid a nickel of child support. She was cheating on her newest clam like she cheated on her husband, she was becoming a cocaine hound. She only considered returning SOME of the money she stole to avoid jail. Just because Ashley was a reptile doesn't mean that Taylor wasn't a selfish "c-word".

What an amazing a judge! She seems genuinely kind and seems to make everyone feel comfortable. She is an example of what a judge should be. As for that disgusting, poor excuse for a human Ashley, she looks mad and cold. She clearly has no remorse. I say lock her up and throw away the key

I think it's an act pretending to write counter arguments to witnesses' statements that are non favourable to her case. It's also a distraction technique for herself because she lacks the balls to face people. She isn't writing anything worth reading, all an act 🙄
@@patrickmba7638 That's what all criminal clients or defendants do. Especially the ones that are guilty. Wow such a shock they couldn't hide all the evidence to cover up their crime. It's normal and this is how they get caught. Murder is very difficult to get away with due forensic science
What a FANTASTIC judge! Kind, relaxed, entertaining AND an animal lover is s big plus in my book. Kinda enjoyed the "agent speak" of the victim's ex-husband......"affirm" and the way he says his dates with the day before the month. That's government! Great videos!
This judge appreciates the jury that has taken out time of their own lives for somebody that was irresponsible; selfish and had to take somebody else’s life For their own satisfaction.

I don't understand what the questions the defense attorney is asking the ex husband has to do with anything. What difference does it make?
The guy on the witness stand w the heavy dark beard, owner of Stix Pool Hall, looks so nervous and he's trying to block the Judge from seeing his face during his testimony. Notice he puts his hand on side of his face. I'd love to know what body language experts would say. He's creepy.
With every other witness in this case she wrote in her legal pad. Why did she direct her full focus on this witness? Is it because she thought that since he and his ex wife were fighting… he would somehow support her case?
This judge seems to be a good judge in terms of making sure the needs of ppl are met and has good control over the situation, but also is extremely unprofessional at times. I’ve seen a lot of footage and also the reading of the jury verdict. She chatters WAY too much with her down home personal quips and inappropriate small talk. And it’s all overly winded blather. You can tell this is a job she’s been in for a long time but you can tell she’s not too good with social awareness. She seems to lack the appropriate tone for any given moment. Very awkward to watch her work. Some Judges become so removed from the sensibilities of most others because they get this huge dose of ultimate authority every day. Very bizarre to watch her go off on these tangents and treat ppl strangely.

Story time in the midst of a MURDER trial???!! A young woman, with a 6 YR OLD, has been SENSELESSLY killed by an incredibly evil, selfish individual. This is HER moment to seek the justice her and her family deserves. This JUDGE is doing ALL in her power to make it ALL about herself 😠 Taylor and her family deserve so much more RESPECT than a color blind, narcissistic judge who's more concerned about snacks and blankies, sippy cups and potty breaks than she is about giving this family any kind of solace and peace. I'm absolutely sickened and am starting to literally cringe every time she opens her mouth. That poor family.......
From New Zealand Agree This judge has no respect for the law the victim's family, even the (innocent until guilty) accused. She is making the trial a vaudeville show about herself. Disgusting.
