I took my afqt test about 2 weeks ago and got a 13 🤦♂️ they gave me 2 weeks to come back out and do it and today I went and scored a 51! They were in aw! Then I took a Picat and got a 56! Thank you so much for your video’s honestly couldn’t have done it without you! 🙏🏼
Just so it's clear, these are just examples of the "very easy" questions on the test. Since the ASVAB and PiCAT are computer-adaptive tests, the questions will get progressively more difficult as you answer more and more questions correctly!
Congrats on the significant improvement, and I wish you the best if you join the military! Which branch are you planning to join? With a 88 AFQT score, you can pretty much do anything.
@@GrammarHero I plan on joining the AF hopefully something involved with Network systems but I'm struggling because I don't have much info about the jobs I can pick lol
@@williamrajan1703 To research jobs for the Air Force, I would use the following resources: 1. On the Air Force's website, there is information about all of the careers here: www.airforce.com/careers?gclsrc=ds&gclsrc=ds 2. Military.com does a good job of breaking down the jobs you qualified for, given your ASVAB scores here: www.military.com/join-armed-forces/asvab/asvab-and-air-force-jobs.html Using those two resources, you should be able to see what you qualified for! Good luck!
@@maxsantos8800 The ASVAB/PiCAT doesn't go beyond freshman (high school) level Algebra and Geometry. Most people can solve that one without doing to much work, but since this is an instructional video, I have to show people the logic behind everything.
If you go through my shorts videos and my math boot camp playlist, you should be pretty comfortable on test day and be able to pull in a 75+ AFQT pretty easily. Shorts: www.youtube.com/@GrammarHero/shorts Boot Camp: ru-vid.com/group/PLhlU-GzAQeG2ete7N8QjR2dDN_CaIH67z
@@hunterrogers5638 Good luck! By the time you get through enough of those, you'll notice that I have like 10 iterations of the same problem. I do this, so you can get more practice answering the same questions that are worded slightly differently. For some of those videos, I may have been a little hung over when I made them, so cut me some slack!
What sections did you do poorly on? If English isn't your native language, paragraph comp and word knowledge can be difficult, even if you study a lot.
If you stick with the free resources on my RU-vid channel, you'll have no issues on test day! Study hard using my videos, and test day will be a piece of cake!
Good day grammar hero I have been watching your content for a few months now and I must say I’m truly grateful for it and today is the day I’ll be doing the asvab online and after I’ll do a validation test at meps, Wish me luck 🙏🥲
Hey grammar hero, just got a question for you. I know That WK, MK, WC, PC, and AR make up your aqft score but do you recommend studying anything else to possibly help boost that score up? Thank you ! I take my ASVAB this Thursday
You can, and I would try to do your best on those other subtests. That said, however, the ASVAB is an aptitude test, and you really shouldn't be spending more than a month studying for the test. Here are some practice test and study guides for those other subtests: Study guides: uniontestprep.com/asvab/study-guide Practice tests: uniontestprep.com/asvab/practice-test Good luck!
@@GrammarHero one last thing before I forgot, what videos do you recommend to watch. I’ve been studying for roughy a week so I don’t have much time left
