My Google street view story... I was pulled over by the cops because they mistook me for someone who robbed a bank a few hours before and right in the middle of it all a Google street view car comes driving by with the driver smiling and waving at me....
@Darthshepius I think the reason they're building the self-driving cars (cars without human drivers!) is because they'd like to update more often. Will probably be a couple of years before they're operational, though.
@qeviguvi haha nicely put... + you're probably right... we really need these guys to come over... The queen didn't pass from all the roads... google maps would!
@ARatedChris What? No, I am talking about when I "drive" past my house ;) It show an image where my garage is half done, I want to show it completed :D
A google streetview car stopped me on the road asking for directions. He asked me where he can find a spiral top catholic church painted in green. I showed him the streetview on my phone and had a deja vu moment when I showed him our location.
Hallo..I'm windi oktavia from shandhika widya cinema the keajaiban dunia program Net TV. Want to ask for this account video and permission to play the net TV kejaiaban dunia program, and then we'll include a source/credit title with this account name, thank you
@ItsMattyWattam I assume you wrote the "thanks to Google" for the car movie? Was it the street view team that did the movie? It looks like they have a pretty fun job. I wish I could find such a job that would be occupationally more challenging; like learning to have a good time while I work. That would be the best day in my life. Imagine the things you might see and he places you could go?
Hi I live in Sweden and Im not sure if I can work as a street view driver, is the job available up here? I also wonder how easy it is to get this job, it seems like not many people can work as it because you dont need too many workers each country. Im only 15 years old so Im defently not ready for this job yet, but I would like to know more since I may want this job in the future :-). Do I have to be good at geography? Does my grades matter at all? ( I swear I have good grades but just want to know ) I dont have any experience with driving cars (yet because not legal) My plan in life is kinda just to live in a car/mini bus since I love to explore. (who doesnt?) My parents does not like that idea but this job might be a solution XD. Oh I also have a another question (sorry), how many hours do I work? Im guessing that its much hours, I really like to explore but I dont want to drive too long every day, (max 12 hour work-time but I would still take it if it was higher I guess cause Id love this job) I want to have free time too, since I have a passion for painting. I dont know if its going to work out, but ill do my best. Where will I live? Do I live in the car, or do I need to stay at a motel every night? Can I bring personal items with me? (Since I probably wont be living in my house) I have a lot of questions, trust me, I know
please do it in La Paz, Bolivia my father lives in Brazil since he was 18 and never went back to his country he is 68 now and hurts from homesickness, he is ill and can't travel it would give so much joy to his life again thank you
me too! Or even become one of their technical set-up crew members! (You know they must have a bunch.) ORr-r-r, contact Google and let them know that you're interested in training people to become Street View Camera Set-up Technicians (or whatever they call them). Seems like there would be lots of opportunities all over the world.
