He sat down with her first and had a discussion with her, he spent his hard earned money to buy her top notch supplements and with his actions, he made lunch for her every single day, basically meal prepping for her so she doesn't have to eat unhealthy and you think he's just throwing money at the issue. @@JohnDoe-sp3dc being fat isn't a heroin addiction. I've been in both camps. Loosing weight is super easy barely an inconvenience. In comparison to an actual addiction it's comical. My first fat fat food addiction I went through was high school 11th grade I weighed 260lbs and I am 6ft tall. My prom pant size was a 38 & when I saw that I just put the fork down. I ate what I wanted but only once a day for dinner and a limited portion. It was hard for a week maybe 2 and my average weight was 175-185 within 6 months and lasted years until I got hit with POTS and I was bed ridden for months and could only eat. I'm currently 28 and was 250lbs down to 225 2 weeks after I got a beta blocker and back to my eating habits. My point is that fat is a choice, you can have a slow metabolism like me so eat one small meal a day (exception for extreme labor or exertion, but your body will know what is needed when you are actually healthy what and when to eat.)

Middle and upper management positions are extremely stressful. I have yet to find a doctor or nurse who isn't at least somewhat fucked in the head. It isn't impossible for them to overcome, but it is difficult. That's why you have to start when they are young. This can't be taught unless you already understand this and practice it yourself. Meditation should be taught to kids as soon as they can speak

What has worked for me is letting go of control, in a place without immediate danger, and letting my internal psyche sort it out on its own. I came from severe depression, both parents had it and I inherited it. I eventually overcame it by doing what I said. What kind of meditation do you prefer? I have always been interested in this, and my research has shown than only one type of meditation has been consistently linked with positive results, and that is mindfulness. There is a wonderful book called "The Willpower Instinct" by Kelly McGonigal, a PhD recipient from Stanford. It pretty well describes the path I took to allow my emotions to freely be felt and then leave. I can't believe in controlling our emotions but rather not holding onto them. It was the act of letting go that suddenly made my life fun and fulfilling.

Mentally staying in the past, or projecting into a phantom future result in the overflow of negativity of which you speak. I prefer the basic body/breath mediation taught with some asana practice to start. It traps the mind to focus in the body and ceases the internal dialog automatically. The trick is to sustain it for long enough where it lasts outside of the direct practice, and can come to you in times of need. So, even when a loved one is dying in front of you, you can avoid the pain, and realize the mystery of living and dying as it happens. All of us suffer and die alone. It's part of the miracle of life. Your focus on the negativity makes it greater. Focus on the body and breath, and the mountain of pain returns to being an anthill.
