This printer is worth well over $100 used. I got it for $4.99 at a local Goodwill Thrift Store. IT WORKS!!! All colors print great after I clean it. Please don't forget to like, share and subscribe @303electronics Have an awesome day!
What Google couldn’t answer you did. We have a mega old printer and we thought it was on its last legs - thanks to you we found the issue and it’s solved! Thank you for a clear explanations.
Thanks so much for your demo. I'd changed black cartridge and did the deep clean within printer menu a couple of times but still couldn't print black. I followed your instructions to remove printhead and clean in solution. Bingo! Worked great and saved me money and hassle of having to buy a new printer when all the other cartridges were working. THANKS!
Thanks for posting this! I tried it on mine because I was showing a B200 error message and it's still showing that message, so maybe an electrical fault with the print head? If it's $80 to replace that, better for me to buy a new printer as they're $50 on sale right now...
I have this model and it seems the smaller rear bottom rollers are not easily rolling like this one, manually, past a certain point. Last night out of nowhere it started unevenly feeding paper from the rear tray, bunching up on the right side, causing a jam on each run. What could the possible issues/fixes be?
hi. Could be that width set guide is not letting paper sit evenly in tray. Check to see if the rear paper jam access is closed flush. Itis located in the back of the printer, you will need to lift the back tray to see that cover.
I have a mg 5220 Pixma and have a message that says ink absorber is nearly full. I haven't found any documentation on how to remove them for cleaning, but you mentioned these pads on another video when you disassembled the mg5220, but didn't get to show them. Do you have any suggestions?
Replacement of the unit will not remove the error. You will also need to reset the waste counter. It is programmed into the printer that after a certain amount of pages, usually over 10k pages, the printer will assume that the ink wastebasket is full and needs replacing. Most of the times if there is a way to find reset the counter, you won't even need to replace ink waste tank. Unfortunately, I am not sure how to reset the counter on this printer, but will tinker with it and if I am able to figure out, I will definitely post a video.
i am getting an error message U052 The type of print head is incorrect. Install the correct print head. I removed and reinstalled the original print head but it still says it is incorrect. Any suggestions?
