Cassava cake is a Filipino dessert made from grated cassava ( yuca ) and coconut milk. Best eaten cold and pair perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups grated cassava ( yuca )
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1 1/4 cups condensed milk
- (330 ml ) evaporated milk
- 6 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon melted butter ( for greasing the pan )
- 1 cups grated cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
For the topping:
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
Instructions:
Pre heat oven to 180°C
1. In a large mixing bowl combined all the ingredients and mix well.
2. Pour the cassava mixture into a greased rectangular pan ( 40x32cm) lined with parchment paper.
3. Baked until the cake set and the top is slightly browned. ( Approximately 1 hour )
4. Remove in the oven and pour the topping ,spread evenly.
5. Return to oven and continued to bake under the broiler for about 20 to 30 mins. or until the top turned browned.
6. Allow to cool before slicing.

Thank you for the clear explanation and the recepe list is clear as well. I watched other ladies making these cake but didn't really get the full picture on how to make this cake. I like your way of making it so I will make your cake. I've subscribed to your channel also.

Hello po! Yung grated cassava po ba need na pigaing mabuti to remove its natural juice or hindi masyado?

Hazel Celestino Hi Hazel! No need ng pigaing mabuti yung grated cassava lalo na kung freshly grated ang gagamitin mo pero kung yung nabibili na frozen grated cassava kailangan mo syang patuluin muna sa strainer.

Hi Rainbow World! di ko na piniga yung kinayod ko na kamoteng kahoy. Mainam kung ang mabibili mong kamoteng kahoy ay walang itim-itim yung loob kapag ganoon ang itsura wag mong gamin at paniguradong mapait ang magiging resulta.
