I have never understood why the hell wouldn't anyone go hands on with the guy/girl dishing out the abuse?? And yes I have on a few occasions. One of those was a big fucker, he was about 6'3" and about 230 or so. I got the living shit beat out of me but it was enough for his girlfriend to get away. I'm no fighter by no means what so ever. That's not the point. I can't witness shit like that and do nothing. As human beings I believe we are obligated to help another human being hurt or possibly killed. But that is my opinion, and yes it may get me killed one day, as my wife tells me. She may be right but I can only hope if it is her being attacked, someone would do the same for her if I wasn't around.

I agree. I hope that family lives with gut wrenching guilt for the rest of their lives. I doubt they even needed to go hands on with Fraser. Simply hollering out to let him know that he was being watched could have saved that little girls life

I always jump in. I'm 5'2 and female but I've taken down guys twice my size (in 5" platform heels in one instance). I've taught my daughter, who is even smaller than I am, to stand up for herself and to do the right thing if a crime or witnesses a man hitting a woman, or just offer what help she can. I won't listen to a child screaming and not get involved. Children are the most precious resource we have. I've ran up stairs bc my neighbor's teenage kid was screaming her head off and sounded in distress. When I knocked on my neighbor's door she allowed me in. It was evident the child was throwing a fit bc her mom took her phone so she couldn't go on tiktok as a disciplinary measure. But it could easily have been something else and worse. My neighbors know my home is a "safe house" where they can come if something pops off at their condos. I protect as much as I can. Some may call me "nosey" but I call it "being vigilant"!!!!

There is nothing saying the show isn't produced in part or whole in Canada using Canadian actors with added scenes from Australia, it's Queensland police, Rockhampton news medium, and court documents archives. However, other scenes, such as when Teresa Steinheart drops her 9 year old daughter Tirra(SP?) off at school, Teresa and steering wheel is on the right-side, verses Canada on the left. Same with Jenny Ryan when she drops off 14 year old Natasha. Again, good catch. IMO, it is a mature documentary that exposes some of humanity's worse monsters. By the way, to correct another reply to your comment, the Australian Government web site states "Australia’s primary emergency call service number is Triple Zero (000)..." and also states "911 is the emergency telephone number used in other countries such as the United States and Canada. Not a bad idea. But the act of shouting and then charging at Fraser would have been risky. I have met Fraser, and he was a real psychopath who had no problem making threats against someone like me -- someone who could fight back. An elderly couple not wanting to get involved in danger would understandably keep out of the situation. But, they should well have called the police the moment it happened.

Blessing Goodthings, I agree with your sentiments, but an outsider’s perspective who was not there is different from someone experiencing it at the time. It is something so out of the ordinary that one has to decide if they’re seeing what they think they’re seeing. It also occurs so quickly. The whole thing can seem surreal. It may take some people time to gather their wits to evaluate the situation and decide how to react, and then there is one’s personal safety to consider as well. All of that said, I am dumbfounded and infuriated by people who actually do opt “not to get involved” and “mind their own business.” We all have to look out for each other.

TheMissstify You must be French. France is the only country I know that will charge you for not lending a hand to someone in trouble....if it is safe for you to do so. Personally I think it is good, but I also think that we should not have to force people to help people in need, it should come naturally. I help anyone that I can. For me it is a natural thing to do. I suppose it depends on how you were brought up. I can’t understand how someone can see someone else in need and not help. It doesn’t make sense.

Mornette Potgieter I completely agree, but I would have their crimes tattooed on their faces. Also, not just them, any criminal. I can’t see why criminals are always treated like they deserve respect and human rights. In any crime where you harm another human being and you are found guilty.... you should lose your human rights. Get just bread and water to eat and be locked up in a cell 24/7/365. I can’t see why prison guards should put their lives in danger to work with scum like this. They should not get any medical treatment either.... If they get sick....let them die slowly and painfully in their cell.

Some of these programs don't play well on all devices. We are working on correcting them but it takes time to do them all. If the audio has been repaired than it we say "reloaded". In the meantime some times using a head set will work.

We are working on this issue. In some cases these programs will not play properly on certain devices. We hope to provide a link to a different audio version. In the meantime if you use a headset you will be able to hear the audio correctly.

This is an older series, and the audio mix doesn't always well on all devices. Sometime using a headset helps separate the tracks.

We are getting complaints about the audio in the last 24 hours, there does not seem to be an issue with it here at our end. We will have to see if there is a platform problem.
