Mastermind!!!. This guy’s call to the police was more than fishy, it directed the police straight to him. He forgot the copy of the insurance policy leaving the key to his fingerprints. He did half of the work for the police. What an idiot. This series is fantastic btw. I love it thanks!!

Considering the education and occupation of the convicted murderer, has a lot to do with the crime. I think, many people, me included, expect a professor of law, should understand this little that murder, is not something you can escape from its consequences.

The beautiful intro make these worth watching. The press thinks much of themselves finding out information early, wonder they didn't tip off the suspect, it happens quite often. Honestly, the public would be fine reading about it without wondering if too much information is being printed.

Detectives immediately recognize it to be .32 caliber, most likely fired from a Smith and Wesson. How the heck do you recognize the make of the firearm from a spent slug that's passed through a body? From this slug I'd say not only was this fired from an S&W, it was a model 31 manufactured in 1958 with a firing pin that had been replaced in a gun shop in Pocatella Idaho with a new pin manufactured in Springfield Massachusetts in the July of 1970, first week of July I'd say.

I smelled Mr. Latta from the start. A hitman is quiet won't need to translate killing from an Italian dictionary, no need to hide a book 😂 The key was from the station, no need to wrap it with a map attached, he already got the key from there, he knows how to go back to place the items without the map 😂 He waited in the hotel for the call but never came, oh my, why didn't he call Mr. Nevelle? 🙄 What a law professor😅🤣

To me personally, this plot was a bit disappointing though, bc as soon as the so called "law professor" said that no call came and he had to catch his flight, for some reason I thought it was highly likely him. Most of the Canadian crime stories I see like this 1, its usually life sentence with a minimum of 25 years, and they say, he or they served their sentence n now living here or there..😁.... But the same crime committed in the states, it would be life without , n the narrator would say 'he's serving his sentence at this jail n will likely remain for the rest of his life.. lol ... At least Canada gives a second chance 😁🤠🍺🖖👍🎙

For those of us who are reality oriented, it would be okay to see the real crime scenes, labeled as such. We are watching these programs as crime scene investigators, not for "what the police did."

*I have a question : is this a real life story homicide crime? I mean are those guys whos the “victim” n the guy whos a “murderer” are “themself” in this video? I mean are they they real person? Cos the reason I asked is cos theres no name of actors who played they roles...I mean if you read the writing explanation description down below this video...You'll see whos the narator, etc..it sounds silly but just curious, well I am in the middle of watching now & I am so interested on detective world as is my dreams since I was a kid...cheers from **#Bali**!*

*Oh I get it, just literally see the real victim in that news paper..for the record he was more handsome then the actor..no.offence! Bob Naville! Great name! Very tragic tho..poor wife poor kids...if only he can keep his “womanizer mentality”...careful karma of this universe will hunt us down, no matter what we do..bad or good will come back to our laps....RIP for him tho..*

Yes these are part drama so we use actors who play the parts of those in the story. All the interviews are the real people though and anything from newspapers and so on are themselves. If you have not already done so, we invite you to become a subscriber.

Business partner stole his pregnant girlfriend, took out the life insurance policy, and she disappeared, while he was indicted. I bet she was underage, and went into Witness Protection.
